Paige's POV

Ever since Lilly started showing up to our tutoring sessions, her grades have improved and I can't help but feel a bit proud. But ever since what happened with Mikey, I noticed that my grades slipped a bit.

Janis and Sue are dragging me to another party because Mikey ruined my first high school party. The party is in the rich rich part of town so we got a Uber to get there instead of driving back drunk.

Once we get there, I instantly notice the literal mansion of a house that this Peggy girl lives in. 'Holy shit this is huge.' Is the only thought I have. As I enter, I see several people drinking, talking, and making out, making sure that Mikey isn't near and or here. I head to the makeshift bar in the back of the house and start drinking.

Janis and I are dancing to whatever music there is as I'm not a wall flower this time. The more I dance and the more I drink, the more I notice random things. For example, Lilly is here.

'Wait... Lilly's here?' That thought clouds my already drunken mind as I continue to drink more and talk with my friends. I head back to the make shift bar and grab more beer for Janis, Sue, and I.

I'm drinking on my own by the pool that this mansion has. Janis and Sue are either flirting, making out, or hooking up with someone random dude. As I sit alone on the pools edge, I can't help but notice Lilly on her own as well.

'Should I go over?'

'I'm gonna go over.'

My drunken mind decides to go over to Lilly. I drunkenly make my way over to the smaller brunette girl. She takes a sip of her can of beer when she notices me walking over.

"Aren't you supposed to be at home studying Paper?" Lilly asks with a playful and drunken smirk, using the nickname that everyone here calls me.

"I notice your grades improving a bit since you started showing up to tutoring. You and your family must be at least a little happy." I drunkenly say, hoping my words aren't too slurred as we both drink our drinks. I notice that Lilly's hands fidget with her beer bottle.

"I mean, my mom is. My dad thinks I'm cheating or something because he and most of my teachers because I'm like..." I can practically hear the hesitation in the brunette's voice, "crazy and shit. I don't know."

"Your not crazy. Just dealt the wrong hand." I say in a attempt to ease the tension with the skater girl.

"Nah I am." Lilly says with a chuckle as she finishes the rest of her drink as she stands up and stretches. "Well, I got to go find my friend before he gets to drunk and cheats on his girlfriend. See in math or tutoring Paper." Lilly says with a drunken smirk as the skater grabs her board and walks looking for her friend.

With that, I'm left alone again. I get up to find my friends before they do something stupid as well.

I enter the mansion and grab a beer on my way to the living room. Once I arrive, I see Sue making out with some freshman and Janis flirting with someone I can't see. I yet again bump into someone and apologize profusely.

"Relax, relax. Your Paige right?" The boy asks.

"Umm... yeah. Why do you ask?" I ask trying to make sure I don't have another Mikey situation.

"Oh! Right sorry. First of all, I'm Mika. Secondly, you tutor my best friend Lilly. She can't shut up about math some days." The boy, Mika says with a smile.

"Oh wow. I didn't know she cared about our lessons that much." I say just before I feel a wave of nausea walk over me, making me gag.

"Opp. Shit, let's get to to a trash can." Mika guides to a trash can, barely making it before I throw up.

"Thanks Mika." I say while grabbing a paper towel to wipe my face.

"No problem." He says with a smile before leaving.

I decide it's time for me to go home and I call an Uber. Once I'm home, I feel almost giddy that I had a actual conversation that didn't involve math with Lilly.
