Paige's POV
I stop listening to my music and pull out my ear buds.
"Shit. Sorry Lilly, didn't see you." I say with an apologetic chuckle as the smaller girl stares at me.
"You ok? You seem a little... pink to say the least." I look at the brunette's flushed face that's not hidden well at all and I pick up her skateboard.
"Here. Have fun skating." I say with a smile as I walk into the bathroom. Just before the door closes I hear a mumbled thanks.
Once I'm done in the the bathroom, I walk out but see Lilly there still... waiting?
"Oh, hi again!" I say with a beaming smile as the shorter girl pulls a small piece of paper with something scribbled on it out of her pocket.
"Heres my number!" The girl says hiding her extremely red face by looking away and her arm extended fully towards me with the piece of paper in hand.
"Aw thanks Lilly. I'll text you later today. Oh and see you Monday." I say with the same beaming smile as I take the paper with Lilly's number on it and put it in my own pocket.
I watch with the same smile as the girl as she hurries off to her friend Mika who has a huge proud smile on his face as he takes a doughnut but Lilly steals it. I put my earbuds back in and press play on my music as I walk back over to the isles to grab something to eat. I settle on a bag of chips and check out. I shove the bag of chips in my backpack and walk out to my bike, hop on and bike over to Janis's house.
After a twenty minute bike ride, I arrive and walk up to the front door. Janis says hi and let's me in and I'm greeted by everyone, Sam, Tom and Luke who are all playing Mario Kart with Sam winning.
"Ha! The queen of rainbow road wins again mother fuckers!!" Sam yells, jumping up and down in victory as Tom and Luke groan but keep racing.
"Mario Kart I see. Sam, you ready to lose the title of queen of rainbow road?" I ask with a cocky smile as Sam stops and looks me dead in the eyes.
"We'll see. Take Janis's controller, she always loses, it'll be nice to have some actual competition now." Sam says as she roses me the controller and soon after Tom and Luke finish the race.

Sam and I are neck and neck in the final lap of the rainbow road map of Mario Kart. I win in the literal last second and Sam looks completely shocked and I think everyone else is because the room fell silent.
"Holy fuck..." Is the only thing that can be heard from Sam.
"Sam I am so sorr-" I try apologize but Sam cuts me off by the sound of her bag being rummaged through.
"Prophecy foretold your arrival... chosen one. You were the only one to take down the queen, aka me." Sam says on one knee with a tinniest toy crown, holding it out to me.
I take it and put it on my head with a loud chuckle.
"I am truly honored." I say with a smile as I fix the crown's position.
"Want to celebrate with some drinking?" Janis suggests heading to her parents liquor cabinet.
"Why not? I mean, Sam did just lose for the first time ever." Tom says with a smile helping Janis get the glasses.
After a couple drinks, I'm a little more than tipsy. Janis decided that it was time to play Truth or Dare since alcohol helps people say things.
"Tom, truth or dare?" Janis asks with a sly smile.
"Mmmm dare." Tom replies.
"I dare you to kiss the hottest person in the room, in your opinion." Janis asks just before Tom got up and kissed Luke.
"Damn! Did not except that Tom!" Sam and I say laughing our asses off.
"Tom! Your turn to ask" I say with a smirk, waiting for Tom to ask some truth or dare.
"Alrighty then Paige. Truth or dare?" Tom asks with a sly and cocky smirk.
'Oh shit! Shit shit shit shit shit!' Is the only thought I have.
