Paige's POV
So after getting stood up on the tutoring session, I went home and did homework, I don't socialize much outside of school.
I'm doing homework when I get a text from the group chat.
The Weirdos
Janis
How was the tutoring with Ms Lilly Williams, Paper?
Paige
She flaked. I say there waiting but she didn't show.
Sam
Luke you better pay up tomorrow at school
Luke
Hell no!
You knew she was gonna do that! I wanted to bet on your side but no!
You choose first bitch.
Paige
You guys seriously bet on this?
Very mature
I put my phone down and go back to doing homework. At around 11 o'clock, I finish my homework. I flop on my bed then look out the window. After awhile, I see someone on a skateboard heading up the street. 'Cool, a girl that knows skateboarding.' I don't think ugh of it and head to sleep after a shower.

I heading to school the next morning but not before my dad gives me a lecture on how he's happy I've finally made friends.
"You should go out with your friends more. You finally have some and you never hangout." My dad says, attempting to justify his lecture.
"Go out to parties and get drunk. Have some teenage fun." He says with a bright and reassuring smile. He always wanted me to have but since we moved every couple of years, it's difficult to even have friends because once you move, they never talk to you again (regardless if they have your number or not)
"Maybe Dad. See you after school." I shout as I walk through the door... and nearly fall on my face.
I hear Janis laughing along with Sam as they stop in front of my house.
"Get in loser! We got school!" Sam yells as I walk to the car. It's because our ritual, Janis picks up Sam then me. Luke gets picked up by Tom because he lives close to Luke and he's the only other one of us with a car.
Janis beeps the horn as get to the handle, making me jump.
"Damnit Janis!" I yell playfully as I get in the back seat.
We get to school a little before the bell and Luke and Tom barely make it before the bell. I'm joking around with Luke because I'm taller than him even though I'm the youngest of the group and he the oldest. He's like the big brother I never had.
We walk into school and I see Lilly walking with her backpack, headphones in, and skateboard in one hand as she stares at her phone and walks through the hall. I guess I was staring because Sam snaps her fingers in my face as I'm pulled back into reality.
"Hey, no daydreaming. We got English together." Sam says and gestures me to follow her as we walk to Mrs Moore's English.
