Sometimes when Steve looked into Aleks's dark brown eyes - almost black - he would slip into a trance like state. The pure white of her eyes emphasised the darkness of her eyes further. It was more than an aesthetic appreciation. He felt a warmth spreading through his body as he looked at them. Her pupils were as black as the darkest parts of the cosmos, and he felt like he was being taken there as he stared into them. It was a dizzying feeling, like he was experiencing something beyond the physical - something mystical. He felt in those moments that his love for Aleks was infinitely deep.

When he walked in the woods near his house, he often saw bunny rabbits tearing at little tufts of grass with their teeth. Their big eyes looked black, clearly defined, wet. They were achingly cute to watch, and he would stand still, just a few metres from them, looking at them eat. They would stop for a moment, look up at Steve's motionless body, decide he was safe, and get back on with eating. Aleks's eyes were the same - big, wet, black, and full of life. When he looked into them he saw her complete devotion to him. Everything about the depth of their relationship was felt in those silent moments when they stared into each other's eyes. Neither of them needed to speak. The look in their eyes told them everything they needed to know.

Aleks's eyes reminded him of his daughter's eyes when she was a baby. He had fallen in love again when his daughter had been born. When cradling Emma in his arms, he felt such deep feelings of love for her. The look she had given to her daddy was the same look of mystical love that Aleks had in her eyes. Now, looking deep into Aleks's eyes, he felt the same pull on his heart. How was it that the innocent love he had for his baby daughter felt the same as the love he had for Aleks? Steve thought hard to try and figure it out.

He realised that the love was the same. It was no different at all. It was a pure love, untainted by anything impure. It was rooted in a desire to care and protect, but also in a deep fear of loss. He had felt that with Emma, and he felt it with Aleks too. The deeper he feared losing both, the stronger he loved them both.

He had lost Emma to adolescence, and the ache he felt in his heart when that happened was the same as any break up. It had been so unexpected. He never imagined there would be a time when she turned her back on him. He thought that his unconditional love had a magical power that would bond her to him forever.

Love, he thought, is felt more strongly the greater you fear its absence.

He understood why Aleks had been sobbing while sucking on his soft cock. The more you feel the comfort of someone, the more you fear a time when that vanishes.

This shared anxiety fuelled their love for each other. Steve understood in this moment the existential realities of love - when one person no longer fears the loss of the other, love's flame has been extinguished.

Steve had been worried that the feeling of love he felt for Aleks was inappropriate, because it was the same love he felt for his daughter. Now, though, he understood that the love he had for both was rooted in something innocent, something borne from the dread of being separated. Layered on top of this, with Aleks, was sexual attraction. They both felt this. For him it was her youth, her insecurities, the smell and softness of her young skin, the subtle folds of her labia. For her it was his manliness, his confidence, his stature, his calming voice.

Steve lay on the bed next to Aleks, watching her as the morning sun streamed through the window, illuminating her umblemished skin. He thought philosophically about the orgasms they shared together.

At the moment of climax you just feel. There are no words. Just feelings. Intense feelings. For just those few seconds all fear is gone, time and space are extinguished. You enter the highest state of pleasure possible for a human being. The timeless nature of it is mystical. To reach that place at the precise moment as the person you are holding, connects you spiritually. You've both been transported to that place beyond the physical universe where words have no place.

A wave of happiness came over Steve as he reached the end of his train of thought. He understood his love for Aleks. It was pure, deep, timeless, mystical, the highest form of good imaginable.
