It was currently Friday and Dearra had nothing to do. She already cleaned her condo and car, posted a natural makeup tutorial, she didn't have any more promotion content to film this week, and Klay decided to sit in at practice today. It was truly a chill day for her, but Dearra couldn't sit still.
She always needed something to do, so she decided to meet up with Dess and Jayda for a friend's outing. The girls didn't know what they wanted to do yet, but they were all down for something.
The repetitive knocks on the door let Dearra know that one of them had arrived at her place. She walked through the vanilla smelling house, she had lit the candle she and Klay picked out last week.
She opened the door without looking, "Hey girl!" Jayda said to her.
"Jay! Girl I haven't seen you in so long. You be so wrapped up in that man." Dearra said, as they went into the kitchen for a drink. Dearra didn't condone drinking and driving so the girls drunk cranberry juice.
"Me? Wrapped up in a man?" Jayda replied, she was being fake offended.
Dearra laughed, "Yes hoe. You don't ever pull up on us no more."
Jayda responded, "Y'all always with y'all men too bitch, so don't even." They both laughed together, because Dearra knew it was true.
"Destiny is here!" Dess yelled through the house making her presence known. All three girls hugged each other tightly. Dearra was a firm believer in loving on someone everytime you see them, because you never know when the last time will come.
"I love y'all for real!" Dearra said, and the girls returned the statement back with honesty.
It was hard to find an authentic and loving friend group and Dearra was happy she found hers so early on. College and adulthood would've probably been hell without these girls. Some people claimed to be very antisocial and introverted, but Dearra believed every single person needed at least two ride or die friends.
The girls all stood in the living room taking pictures in the mirror, "Send me those." That was the girls favorite thing to say when taking pictures, although the pictures never actually got sent.
"Okay, what y'all wanna do, cause I got all day." Dess asked the girls.
Dearra thought about it for a minute, "I wanna do something fun and different. Imma look on tiktok."
Each of them searched on tiktok for fun things to do in their area of California. Of course a lot of things came up, but the girls weren't interested in doing too much. They just wanted a fun, chill day between them.
"Y'all wanna go to Top Golf?" Jayda asked, and everyone agreed on the destination. Dess decided she would drive since she's the only one that actually enjoyed driving.
