CPR - Summer Walker

It was Sunday, so Dearra spent her time cleansing and refreshing her home. She did everything under the sun from mopping to dusting. When her home was clean, so was her soul. She felt replenished.

The music played loudly through the bluetooth speaker. As Dearra started the dishwasher, she heard rapid knocks on her front door. She paused the music and looked through the peephole in the door. When she saw Dess and Jayda, she blew out a shaky breath. She unlocked and opened the door, entering the pair.

"De, why didn't you respond to our messages in the groupchat?" Dess said in a very concerned manner. The group of girls sat on the couch right next to each other.

Dearra was confused with the sudden burst of company, "I was cleaning, and my phone is upstairs charging on do not disturb." Dess and Jayda rolled their eyes simultaneously, "Bitch social media is in an uproar right now literally." Jayda said.

Dess opened the instagram app, immediately going to the shaderoom's account, "You didn't edit that video good enough, because the internet detectives know you were with Klay." Dearra's heart nearly dropped to her ankles. She snatched the phone from Dess, before reading the caption and looking at the attached photo. Indeed there was a small clip of Klay she accidentally left in the video.

#TSRBaeWatch: Social media influence sensation, Dearra Taylor, spotted in a recent Youtube video with NBA Player, Klay Thompson. The couple appeared to be on a lunch date in Downtown LA. Newest celebrity couple out and we're here for it!

Dearra kept rereading the caption and each time she became more and more irritated. The Shaderoom took a false narrative and literally ran with it. That was the complete opposite of the interaction her and Klay had, in her opinion.

"Are you going to delete the video?" Jayda asked with a look of concern.

Dearra gave Dess back her phone, "Shit, there's no point now. This messy ass account already posted the fucking screenshots." Dearra was upset to say the least. She was upset that she even slipped up and left any clips in the video. She shouldn't even have recorded during their outing.

"Maybe you should call Klay, just to see if he's aware of everything. It is him in the video." Dess suggested, and Dearra agreed. She quickly ran upstairs to retrieve her phone. Looking through the notifications, there were so many, and she had gained more followers. She lazily laid back in between her friends, preparing to call Klay.

As the facetime rang, Dearra grew more and more nervous. She didn't know why, but she tried to maintain the irrational emotion, after three rings Klay picked up. The phone was in his lap, and he took glances down every once in a while.

"Wassup, Arra." This was the new nickname that Dearra had received a few days ago. Klay wouldn't stop using it no matter if she asked or not.

"Oh?" Dess said, but not as silent as she thought. This led Klay to ask, "What'd you say?"
