Training was hard. Raffael had known that from the beginning, but it was still a lot harder than he had anticipated. The GSF were no joke when it came to training. It was brutal. He had so many bruises from landing rough on the floor. His body ached from the strain. But, he wasn't giving up. He was determined to see this through. He wasn't going to let anyone down. They had let him become a full-fledged member of the Special Force. He couldn't let them think it was a mistake to do.

He made it this far through his determination. There was no way he was going to back out now. No matter what happened, he was in this for the long haul. He would do whatever it took to get his revenge and make sure no one else had to go through that ever again.

Every time he got knocked down, he got back up and asked to try again. Slowly but surely he was improving. He was learning their methods. Learning how to dodge. It wasn't too long before he was able to start almost winning some fights. Well, against Nico, at least. He didn't fight Maxi yet and well, Jae still could put him on the ground in seconds if she wanted to. He doubted he would ever best Jae in a fight no matter how long he trained for.

The commander was very impressed by his spirits and his commitment to keep going on. Raffael was glad that it seemed like everyone was starting to accept that he could be a part of this team and useful. He hadn't been able to not overhear some discussions about how everyone felt about him being on the team. Everyone was still very hesitant to let such a young kid with them. Raffael was glad that he was starting to prove them wrong.

He knew he was young. Knew that this was a big risk for them to take on. He wasn't exactly fighting material yet. But, his age wasn't going to matter soon enough. Raffael was certain he could prove his worth to everyone before long. He may be young, but he was determined.

"Commander Jie asked for us to come to the bridge for a mission debriefing." Maxi popped his head in the training room where Nico and Raffael were sparring.

"Gotcha. Be right there." Nico nodded.

"We're going on a mission?" Raffael questioned. "Even me?"

"We'll have to see what he says. I'm sure you'll be allowed to go." Nico shrugged. "Let's not keep the commander waiting."

"Good idea." Raffael nodded.

The two headed to the bridge, wondering what type of mission they might get sent on. It was hard to say. There were a lot of things that they could be sent to do. Raffael was visibly nervous. This was his first time doing this as an actual member of the team. That was a lot of pressure if he did get told he was part of the team.

They were the last of the group to arrive. Everyone was gathered around the conference table in the middle of the room. Tsang stood at the front and nodded to them all. He waited until everyone had found a place to either sit or stand and then he began.

"Welcome, everyone. This is my first mission to give as your commander since we official launched this force. We have received word that some of the globes kept in the Libra sector have been stolen by a chief and we must get them back. However, because this is a chief we are talking about, we must proceed with caution." Tsang spoke. "Thankfully, the GRF HQ has finally finished some power up globes. Everyone can take one to have. I do not know what they all do, apologies."

He placed a handful of globes out on the table. Everyone stared at them and then slowly started choosing what one they wanted to try out. There were quite a variety of colors to choose from. There was not much indication as to what each globe could do. They were going to have to figure it out as they went from the looks of it.

"Are we going to be collaborating with anyone from the Libra base?" Jae questioned.

"Negative. They are too afraid to get them back, so we are in charge." Tsang replied. "Everyone, please be careful. Do not engage in battle with that chief unless you have no other choice. Understood? I'm not ready for us to try something like that. Our priority is getting those globes back."
