Solstice stood over a table in his room, papers scattered across the desk and holograms flickering in and out of existence everywhere as well. He was gripping the desk tightly. He looked irritated.

"How dare they... after everything I've done..." He growled.

"Solstice? You wanted to see us?" A voice broke the silence in the room.

Solstice straightened up and turned around, calming himself quickly. "You all made it. Welcome."

Eclipse, Supernova, and Orbit all stood by the entrance to the room. Solstice took in a deep breath and walked closer to them all. There was still some lingering anger that the three of them could pick up on.

"There have been some... unexpected changes to our predictions." Solstice stated. "The two I sent to keep the idiots busy have learned of the notes and now seem to want to see what's going on for themselves."

"Well, that isn't ideal." Supernova commented.

Solstice growled in annoyance. "They had one job... and I even fixed the issues too. Why does he continue to go against my plans... And now Noval is getting involved. She was supposed to keep him in place, not help him step out of line."

"How did you learn of this?" Orbit questioned.

"Miron seems to have forgotten I get notified about certain keywords being spoken or thought in those with BMIs."

"What do you wish for us to do about them?" Supernova asked. "Are we exterminating them?"

Solstice shook his head. "No. While it is annoying having them go against my orders... this may be useful. They'll interrupt the Special Force idiots in their attempts to figure out what is going on. Perhaps they'll take each other out and we won't have to raise a finger."

"So we're just going to watch what they do and if things get worse..." She trailed off.

"Then we'll think about getting rid of them permanently." Solstice nodded. "For now, I wish for you all to continue seeing about finding who is responsible for these notes. I will keep you all updated on this situation."

"Very well."

"I have things to put in place. I don't wish to keep you." Solstice dismissed them.

The three left the room, talking amongst themselves. Solstice waited until he couldn't hear them anymore and then started a transmission.

"My lord." Noval answered.

"Noval, I have another job I need you to attend to once more. I hope you don't mind."

"Not at all, what may I do for you today, my lord?"

...

It was early on the ship. Everyone had only gotten up an hour prior. Breakfast had just finished. Everyone was mostly doing whatever they wanted to for the time being. Tsang had said he was awaiting some messages from the HQ to give them a potential mission again.

Jae had been very quiet since yesterday. She had taken to sitting in an empty little room and reading a book. She wasn't really reading, though. She was just staring at the words, none really registering in her head.

"Jae?" ALIVA cautiously approached her, not wanting to startle her.

Jae looked up from the book and glanced at ALIVA. "Yes?"

"Are you alright?"

Jae let out a sigh. "I just... it's weird not having Maxi around..."

"The repairs are going well, at least. He should be up and running again in a week like predicted." ALIVA said. "He'll be back before we know it."
