The sun hung high in the sky as you made your way back through the forest, the path dappled with patches of sunlight filtering through the dense canopy overhead. The sound of the waterfall faded into the background as you walked, the tranquility of the moment enveloping you in a sense of peace.

Neither of you spoke much during the journey back, the comfortable silence between you filled with the gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds. Yet, despite the lack of words, there was a newfound ease in the air, a subtle shift in the atmosphere that spoke volumes without needing to be voiced.

You couldn't help but feel Levi's gaze on you as you led the way through the winding paths of the forest. It was a weighty presence, laden with unspoken emotions and lingering memories of the intimate moment you had shared by the waterfall that made you shiver.

But rather than feeling uncomfortable under his scrutiny, you found yourself oddly comforted by it, and you couldn't stop the smile from forming on your face.

Eventually, you and Levi stepped into the clearing, the house standing proud against the backdrop of the late evening sun. However, the first thing that caught your attention was the ominous sight of dark thunder clouds looming low over the nearby mountains. The once serene meadow now seemed to hold an air of foreboding, the gentle breeze now carrying a chill that prickled your skin with unease.

A sense of dread washed over you as you realized that the storm would soon be upon you, and your makeshift shelter of a house offered little protection against the impending downpour.

"Back to reality, I guess." You murmured before you turned to Levi, a furrow forming between your brows as you spoke, "We need to move everything inside before the storm hits. My old bedroom still has most of the roof intact. It won't keep us perfectly dry, but it's our best bet for tonight."

As you swiftly gathered the scattered camping supplies, your movements fueled by a sense of urgency, Levi took charge of bringing the horses inside, his movements equally efficient as he untied them and led them through the backdoor into your old bedroom.

Entering the room, you did a quick once-over, scanning the space for any potential hazards or weaknesses in the structure. Satisfied that it would suffice as shelter, albeit temporary, you set your belongings down in the corner furthest from the doors, out of the way but easily accessible if needed.

With a shared sense of purpose, you and Levi wasted no time in fortifying the room against the impending storm. You hastily shoved your old bed frame out of the way, clearing space and making room for the horses, while Levi did the same with Oliver's bed, pushing them both up against the back door to act as a makeshift barricade against the wind.

As the first rumblings of thunder echoed ominously in the distance, the air grew increasingly turbulent, carrying with it the promise of an imminent storm. The once bright sunlight began to fade, replaced by darkening clouds that loomed overhead with threatening intent.
