CHAPTER FOUR

"Ugh this bitch is still here, for fucks sake does she ever take a break" Emilio says flatly but the small smile on his face shows the amusement behind it.

"Ugh not this guy again, bro comes here breakfast lunch AND dinner alone everyday. Have you tried coming here with a girl," she gives him a fake sympathetic look and places a comforting hand on his shoulder " it's sad ,really ,watching you eat by yourself"

She then turns to the man next to him "God bless you for this charity work"  she didn't really look at his boss because essentially she was kind of nervous so she looked at the man next to him.

He had poopy brown doe eyes that looked at her in amusement, he was clearly entertained from Alanis and Emilios sibling-like relationship. A neat black suit was sitting on his body along with some glasses resting on his nose. He looked prestige and clean. Heck he looked like a cutie patootie.

Emilio looked offended but before he could reply the blue eye guy laughed at this interaction and said

"Wow so this must be the woman you always speak so highly about. She really is amazing. You should know Emilio begs us to come to this diner every day so we can meet you"

"First of all you fuck I don't beg. Second of all I only wanted you to come to the diner not fucking befriend my Lani. I was gatekeeping her" he murmured at the last bit.

"Pretty boys don't gatekeep" he replied smugly.

"What-"

Before he could say anymore, the poop eye guy interrupted the petty bickering and gave Alani a shy smile and said " Hi I'm Noah ignore the two of them we always tend to have a headache whenever they are together."

"Hey!" The two dumplings said at the same time.

"Nice to meet you Noah I'm Alani. I also always tend to have a headache whenever I'm just with Emilio so i understand the feeling" she gave him a reassuring smile because she could tell he wasn't the type to speak a lot. He was a listener.

She also avoided eye contact with the man sitting next to him even though she can feel his heated gaze on the side of her face. Normally she's an expert at eye contact but for some unknown reason she couldn't bring herself to look at him regardless of him not taking his eyes off of her from the moment she came.

"Everyone just bully's me" Lio whispers quietly but he does know that it's not true. He knows Alani loves him almost as much as he loves her, and it's a lot of love.

"Ok now let the star of the show speak" blue eye guy pauses and reaches over to grab Alanis hand and gave it kiss "I'm Lucas and I'm gonna take that idiots place as your best friend. I am quite the charmer" he concludes with a wink. Alani awkwardly chuckles, snatching her hand back and said

"That's great i guess hehe you're a strange man aren't you."

"What the fuck is wrong with you, you silly cunt. Get the fuck back to your fucking seat and go cry me a fucking river to drown in hoe" Lio snaps as he shoved him back to origin angrily and Lucas's giggling only annoyed him more.

"Emilio that was rude! Apologise to Lucas now" she exclaimed then turned to blue eye guy "Are you hurt anywhere"

"Dont worry mi tulipano. The only thing that hurt was Lios harsh words" he says innocently.

Lani looks at the man child she can't help but love and care for and raises an eyebrow. This made him sit up straight slightly scared for his life and murmured a quick sorry and went on his phone.

"That was fucking hilarious Alani. You have to teach me how you get Emilio to fix up so quickly I've never seen him do that" Noah chuckles.

"A magician never tell her secrets. I've known him five years and on the second year I noticed all the little things of him and took it to my advantage " Alani says proudly.
