Don't Save Her

CHAPTER SEVEN

"It's all my fucking fault." Olivia sobs into Alanis shoulder.

"Oh my love your worrying me please tell me what happened and I promise as your big sister I will do whatever i can to fix it."

"Oscars out for Mr Thomson's blood right now. I've never seen him that angry." She cries, trying to find her breath.

"I'll call him just tell me what happened babe" Lani comforts whilst rubbing her hand up and down her back.

"I was at school at lunch and I didn't feel like talking today so I went towards the front of the school. Then I saw Mr Thomson come towards me and he touched me. I feel so fucking dirty." Olivia says quietly, shaking.

Alani not only felt her heart drop, but anger quickly sprinted across her body. The sick fucker could do it to her but not her Liv.

"It's ok. It's ok. It's ok." Alani repeats, slightly panicking. She stayed strong for Liv and continued to comfort her.

"And then Oscar saw, ripped him off of me before he could rape me. He punched him so hard and warned him. He said you have until I finish school to fucking run before I get to you. But Mr Thomson reciprocated by saying you do that and you'll see you and you family on the fucking streets. Oscar was so angry and worried he didn't even care and now hes gone. I'm so sorry Lani. I ruined your hard work."

Alani pulls her out of her shoulder, holds her firm and looks her dead in the eye. She almost cried herself looking into those teary eyes.

"Trust me when i say this Liv. Whatever happened, was absolutely not your fault but rather Mr Thomsons perverted mind. You did nothing wrong, all you wanted was space but that pig ruined it, not you. Also, you do not worry about if we lose the house ok. I don't care about it i care about you I'll make things right. Trust me." She says softly wiping her tears.

Olivia looked at her in so much love and admiration. Words could never ever describe how grateful she was for her mother.

"You freshen up ok everyone is probably wondering where i am. I'll go give Oscar a call. Go." Alani says , urging her to go and when Liv goes she let it all go.

Everything was a fucking mess. He makes everything a mess. She allowed herself a moment of vulnerability, tears falling rapidly. She knew what it felt like and she believed that she failed to protect her. She knew what that pig was like and this shit still happened.

After a few minutes, she stopped herself from this breakdown and made herself look presentable. She couldn't do anything with the red eyes. People would probably think she's on something but really it's all just pain.

So as she walks down to the toilets she gets her phone out and calls Oscar. 7 fucking times. On the 8th try he picked up.

"Gosh are you ok baby. Come to the diner now. Whatever happened, whatever's going on right now and whatever happens in the future, i will fix it. What you are doing is not the right way to handle things ok just please come. Olivia needs you."

"I'm fine. I'll come now I have something bigger planned for this motherfucker." He replied and ended the call.

Alani sighed and reached the toilets, only to be met with Darino exiting the men's toilet.

Again, their eyes meet but Darino furrows his brows this time. The redness around it pulled at his heart and he didn't know why. How could anyone be cruel enough to hurt such a caring person.

Darino being Darino however said

"What the fuck have you been smoking."

Alani scoffs and flatly replies with " Crack cocaine in my bosses office." and walks into the bathroom, not waiting for any reply back.

Darino is shocked for a moment but comes back to earth. He realises that she's joking.From what he already knew about her, he knew she loved her siblings like they were her own so she wouldn't be doing this shit whilst looking after them.

Quickly, he makes it back to the table and sits down.

"Theo, Theo! Darino has diarrhoea ewwww." Lucas says, still competing for the throne.

"You little fucking shit. He's lying tesoro don't listen to this overgrown baby. You are way more cooler and smarter than him." Darino snaps

Before anymore words could be said Mrs Kinor called out

"Theo come get your food." As she placed a plate next to where Raina was sat, already eating her food."And you, you devilish monkey sit down and eat." She firmly says pointing to the seat next to Theo, looking at Carlo unamused.

The little shit was doing a handstand on the table.

"I'm after you next Camilo, I missed your mischievous antics it reminds me of someone" Emilio calls out, directing the last bit at Darino.

Just after that Alani and Olivia come out. Liv takes her seat and also begins to eat and like Raina she goes on her phone. Alani stands in front of all of them and starts asking everyone about their days and engaging in a motherly conversation with them.

"Emilio." Darino says.

"Yeah..." he replies slightly scared of the sudden name call.

"Not that I care about her or anything. I really don't but I like to do some charity work to balance out the killings i do most of the tim-" He somewhat rambles.

"Just fucking say it." Emilio snaps, growing impatient and getting angry over how he's referring to her sister.

"Alani looks...sad. You should probably check up...on her?" He says, words spewing out like a question.

"Oh?" He softy says now concerned for his Lani. Lucas and Noah had stopped the mini conversation ages ago and was listening.

"What! My Alani! My best friend! My sister! She probably needs me to comfort her right now." Lucas panics.

"Slow the fuck down brother, you met her a few minutes ago." Noah say then continues with, "Expand Rino what do you mean she just looks sad."

"Well the usual sadness in her eyes that was there from the start grew and her eyes were red which means she was crying. She normally has a normal resting face. Neutral. But this time she was walking with a frown."

"I'll speak to her tonight. Let's just discuss this meeting we have next week with the Spanish mafia."
Emilio replied ending the conversation knowing he will be having some words with her tonight regarding her health. Again.

So all was good for the next twenty minutes. Everyone was indulged in there own thing.

After introductions with the Baros siblings,friendly interactions and Camilo rambling about his day at school to Emilia- the four men left. But Lucas refused to leave without a hug and Alanis number.

So she gave it to Lucas and Noah because they wanted it. Not Darino but he didn't care he already has it.

Both Lucas and Noah left happy with the post Alani hug daze. They felt so loved for some reason. The power of a hug is crazy.

Darino just stood near the entrance and glared at everyone like the teen boy he is.

So when they left all the kids hung around and all was content.

Until Oscar came home. At 11:30pm even though he said in a few minutes... it had been hours.

God was not on Oscars side as just as he walked in. Emilio walked into the house from the back door too. Shocked and angry.
