A/n: Yay! Readers first official hunt! I'm sorry if it seems rushed, I was having a bit of trouble really trying to figure out how the hunt should play out. Also, since Reader technically has a connection to Primus, I thought that she should be able to connect directly to him if she really focuses. So, if the astral part seems weird, that's why <3 It's kind of an irrelevant detail, but I thought it would be a detail that would be important to know (hence why he is able to communicate with her the way that he does). I hope you guys like this chapter!

Baby was playing Winger as we drove towards Texas. My laptop that Will had gifted to me the year prior for Christmas was wide open, some notes that Bobby had sent to me to look over that Uncle Sam had written before he had went MIA. Apparently, Uncle Sam had found out that the demons that were connected to the Decepticons had taken an excursion out to Texas.

For what reason, neither of us were sure. However, after the demon's visit, some people in a town outside of Austin began to disappear. The uproar began when three of the bodies had shown up. The reports said they were completely drained of blood, and that's what had caught Uncle Sam's eye. Throwing my head back against Baby, I rubbed my eyes as I became exhausted, groaning gently.

"You alright?"

I nodded, mumbling as I rubbed my eyes.

"Yes, I'm just exhausted. We've been driving for hours, and Uncle Sam's notes didn't give much help. I know he's in some town called Georgetown, Texas, and we're hunting vampires. The demons that made an alliance with the Decepticons went there for some reason, and I think it was to lure Uncle Sam to them."

Baby hummed, muttering.

"Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. If you're hunting vampires, I will get the equipment that you will need."

The backseat began to shift, and certain items began to fall onto the floorboard, making me frown as Baby began to instruct and teach.

"In order to kill a vampire, you must decapitate it or it will not die. They have very few weaknesses, but they aren't indestructible. Dead Man's Blood is the main one to use to up your odds. You can directly inject it into the vampire or coat your bullets in the stuff. Scent masking can also help. Vampires can't stand the scent of burnt saffron, skunk's cabbage, and trillium. Rub the ashes all over your body, and you'll be relatively undetectable."

I nodded as I took mental notes, and Baby then warned me, his tone serious and stern.

"Vampire blood is extremely infectious. If you get wounded, do not let vampire blood get into the wound, or you will turn. Dean almost got turned into a vampire once, but there is a way to reverse the transformation if you don't feed from a human after you are infected. If you get infected, you must gather blood from the vampire that infected you, garlic, and sage. Ingest it the second that you can."

I nodded and I muttered after a moment.

"That's my cue to take a nap."

Laying down, Baby projected a holoform of me driving, and though I was slightly perturbed to see a perfect image of me driving, I made sure to face away from the drivers seat and close my eyes, Baby turning up the radio just slightly as Gypsy began to play.

There was darkness all around me at first; the smell of iron and metal making my nostrils burn. Although I knew my eyes were open, I could only see darkness. I was floating in a void, silent and barren with only the scent of metal to accompany me. I was frozen, unable to move as I stayed floating, and suddenly, bright yellow light flooded my vision.

It was so blinding, but I couldn't look away despite the pain it brought me to stare into the yellow light. When the light dimmed, I was horrified to notice that it was not a light, but instead it was two yellow optics looking directly at me.
