Ch. 9- Second day part 2

It finally let me go so I saw it was.......
KY!!!!!!
" Ky! What are you doing here? I thought I got rid of you two months ago." I was shocked.
" I got away."
" Leave me alone. I don't want you around. And if the rest found out they would never trust me again."
" How could I ever leave you alone? You were once my girlfriend."
" That was along time ago. Before you tried to kill me and my new friends."
" Believe me they are not your friends."
" How would you even know? I haven't spoken to you ever since that day."
" I might have been spying on you."
" I should have known. You were always great at spying on people."
" Look as amazing as it is to see u again. I have news. Your dad is weak. He asked to see you. And about those friends, they are going to leave you by the end of the trip. You have to listen to me."
" Ok. One even if I wanted to, which I don't, I can't get away to see father. And two I know my friends they would never hurt me."
" Yeah. And I also bet you think my cousin is just the perfect boyfriend."
" Actually he is a great boyfriend."
" Like how he kissed his ex and spent the morning with her."
" Well yeah that was a... Wait how did you know?"
" Again awesome spy."
" Just stay out of my life." I started to walk away. When he grabbed my arm.
" What about your father?"
" Meet me here at 11:30. I'll do the rest." I walked into the dojo. Where I saw jack and rudy looking around. I walk up behide rudy.
" What are you looking for?" He jumps than turns around.
" Geez kate. You don't scare people like that."
" Sorry. Why are you not training?"
" I could ask you the same thing. Where were you?"
" Getting some water."
" For half an hour?"
" It was hard to find." Than jack walked up.
" There you are. I was worried." He gave me a hug than left his arm around my shoulder.
" I was just getting a drink." It was 11:20 and we were still training. Me and jack were getting ready to spare and I had the perfect plan to get away.
" Bow and spare." We began throwing punches and kicks that we blocked. Than I let jack throw a kick that hit my leg. I fell to the ground acting like I got hurt.
" Are you ok?" Jack asked.
" Yeah." I barly stood than fell back.
" Maybe you should just sit down." Rudy said.
" I'll get jerry to take me to my room." I stood up with help of jack.
" I'll come with." Jack said.
" No. You keep training." I was standing on my own now.
" She's right jack. You need to train."
" Ok. I'll be there as soon as training is over." Jack gave me a quick peck on the lips and I left. I went outside to the parking lot. Then ky jumped down from the roof.
" What took you so long." He asked.
" I had to make a fake injury look real."
" Ok. Let's go." We went to a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. When we walked in I saw this king sized bed. My father was lying there in his black outfit. Now I know ky wasn't making it up. I ran over to the bed still in my jersy and black belt.
" Father!" I sat on the edge of the bed and held his hand.
" Kari. Is that you?" His vocie was weak.
" Yes father. It's me."
" I'm sorry."
" I'm sorry."
" I should have treated you more like a daughter than a soldier."
" I should have stayed no matter what."
" No you were right to leave. I hurt you."
" I also hurt you by leaving you to get ill by yourself." He closed his eyes. " Father."
" There is one way you can save him." Ky said.
" How? I'll do anything."
" You remember the scroll."
" Yes."
" Turns out the powers were transfered into you. And the way to save him is to give him that power."
" But then he might try to take over the world again."
" Do you want to save him?"
" How do I give the power to him?"
" Just put your hands on his head and remember a good time you had with him." I put my hands on his head. The only good memory I had of us was before mom left and I was just six years old.
We are gathering around the christmas tree to open presents. I grabbed a big red box. I tore open the wrapping. It was a barbie doll with a whole wardrobe. I ran and gave mom and dad both great big hugs.
" Thankyou mommy and daddy." They smiled.
" I think mommy should open the next gift." Dad said.
" Yeah mommy open it." She unwrapped the yellow present. There she found a picture of all of us last spring in the park.
" Thankyou princess. Thankyou sweety." She said giving us both big hugs. After that we all went outside.
" I want to make a snowman. Will you help me daddy?"
" Of course princess." We built the biggest snowman ever. It's was twice my size. Then we all had a snow ball fight. Later we went in and had some hot coco.
My mom left when I was seven. Two months later my dad started training me to take over the world. That was the last happy moment I remember. Mom gave me that photo the day she left. I still have it.
" Kari." I opened my eyes and saw my dad still alive. I hugged him.
" Father." He sat up then got out of bed. I looked at the clock five minutes till 12. " I have to go."
" Why?"
" I have to get back in time to go to lunch."
" So your leaving?"
" Sorry father. I'll come visit more often. Bye." I gave him a hug and ran out.
