Ch. 10- Second Day Part 3

KATE'S POV
I ran to the hotel. I was about to enter when I saw the guys headed in. Oh no what do I do. I ran to the back and climbed up the fire escape and into the window. The second I layed down I hear a knock at my door.
" Yes?" I ask.
" It's Jack and Rudy. Can we come in?" Jack asked.
" Yeah. It's open." I answered. They walked in.
" How are you?" Jack asked.
" Better." I answered.
" You still want to go to lunch with the gang?"
" Yeah. Just let me get ready."
" Ok. We'll wait for you down stairs." They left. I got up and put on a blue short sleeve shirt and a pair of shorts. I pulled my hair up in a pony tail and slipped on a pair of black sandles. I walked down to the lobby and saw the guys. Rudy was talking to milton, jerry was flirting with a black haired girl, and jack ran up to me giving me a slight hug.
" You sure you want to come? You could just stay in bed." Jack asked.
" I'm good. Who is jerry talking to?" I asked.
" That french girl named Maria."
" Oh." I looked over and saw none other than Kim. " What is she doing here."
" Rudy invited her. Since we all use to be friends. Is that a problem?" He looked concerned.
" No. It's fine." I didnt really feel like putting up with her but i couldnt tell him that. We all walked to the little café down the road called Amour, meaning love in french. We got a table outside under the bright blue sky. The table was circular so we all completed the circle. Jerry sat by Maria, the french girl from the tournament. Rudy sat between Jerry and Milton. Kim sat between Milton and Jack then I sat on the end between Jack and Maria. Most of the time Jerry was flirting with Maria. The guys and Kim were talking about old times which left me thinking about my visit with my father and Ky. I wonder if my fathers doing any better.
~ Darkness's lair ~
Ky's POV
" Our plan worked. I'm back back in control. After our feud last year i had no power but now i have the whole worlds power." Darkness said.
" Don't you feel bad about tale advantage of your daughter. I mean you did pretend to be dying." Ky said.
" Do you forget who put us here? She ruined everything for me and now I'm going to take everything from her."
" How are you going to do to that?"
" I'm not. You are."
" How do i do that?"
" Show Kari the good old days between you and her. She use to be head over heels for you."
" Are you forgetting she's into my cousin."
" I'm bringing in a helper for that. You are to bring me the girl named Kim. Under no circumstances can you come back without her. Hear me."
" Yes sir."
~ Back at the café ~
Ky's POV
I walked around the back. They were leaving.
" Sorry but I'm walking Kate to the hotel so we can head back to the dojo together." Jack said.
" You sure you don't want want to come and talk more about old times." Kim pleaded.
" I'm sure. See you at the tournament, Kim." Then they were gone and Kim was walking my way. Since she knew who i was i put on a black mask. When she walked around i grabbed her being careful because she's a black belt. I finally got her back to the dojo where the darkness and i live. I locked her in the cage sitting in the middle of the room. Then i took off my mask.
" Ky?" She said softly.
" Hey Kim." I answered.
" Where am i?"
" You my dear are in my lair." Darkness entered the room and answered.
" Who are you?" She said.
" I'm the darkness. Ky's boss and Kate's dad. But I'm sure you knew that last part."
" No. Wait Jack is in trouble. Let me out."
" No my dear. Kate turned on me for them. Shes no longer one of us. But you soon will be."
" What makes you think that?!"
" Oh just that scrolls power in my hand."
" What?" She asked. He put his hand up to her.
" You will follow my commands." And like that she listened to him. He put his hand down.
" Now what?" I asked. He looked in her eyes.
" You will go to jack and make him fall in love with you and if Kate tries to get in your way tell them what she really is and what she's up to. Then report back to me." She left out the door.
" For you. This is your last chance to redeem yourself Ky don't blow it."
