Ch. 24- What They've Become

Kaylee's POV
It's been ten years since we all said goodbye. They all came to the wedding. And they will each drop by from time to time. But today is our official reunion. Everyone's coming. It will be an adventure. Me and Jack still own the dojo and teach classes and Ky is still teaching classes here. I was decorating the dojo when a boy age 6 with Brown medium length hair and a girl age 4 with super long brownish blonde hair both of who were yellow belts came running in.
" Ted! Zoey! How many times do I have to tell you not to run in the dojo!" I screamed. I started to climb down the latter when my husband came in.
" Kate! You shouldnt be doing this. Your pregnant." Jack said coming to help me down.
" Honey. I'm 2 and a half months pregnant. It's not like this baby is coming out any time soon. Plus the baby bump is small so it won't be in the way." I said. Then Ky came in.
" I know I just want to make sure that little Johnny and you are ok." Jack says. I raised my eye brows.
" You mean little tiffany." I said. We don't know the gender. Jack wants a boy and I want a girl.
" I say little Ky Jr." Ky said smirking.
" That will happen when you can finally control the kids instead of joining them." I said pointing to the two kids over by the doors trying to sneak out. "Not so fast you two. Turn and come here." They did as told.
" Yes mommy." They said.
" Go with uncle Ky and get ready for when the guests arrive." I said. Ky took the children and it was just me and Jack. I walked over to him. "I think you should get ready too, Mr.Brewer." I said putting my hands around his neck. His arms immediately snagged around my waist.
" But I would rather spend time with you, Mrs.Brewer." He said he gave me a kiss. It was a long kiss. Than Zoey came out.
" Mommy." She said. Me and Jack pulled away.
" Yes dear." I asked.
" I can't find my purple bow." She said.
" Ok mommy is coming." Then the little girl ran off to her room. "Looks like I have to go." I told Jack.
" One thing first." He said And kissed me again. I pulled away and smiled.
" Now you go get ready. I have a job to do." I said. We laughed Then went separate ways. Two hours later We were all ready. Boys in tuxes and girls in dresses. Then old man Rudy came in. He had a beard now and gray hair. He visited to see the kids twice a year.
" Grandpa!" The two kids shouted then ran to give him a hug. My father was still in prison so when Ted was born I asked Rudy in he would take the title of grandpa. He said he would be honored.
" Those aren't my grandkids. My grandkids are way more trouble." He said as they laughed.
" Grandpa." They drug out together. He then gave them a hug and came over. He gave Jack and Ky a handshake then turned and gave me a hug.
" How are you kate?" He asked.
" I'm good. How's Paris?" I asked.
" It's Paris." He said and we laughed. Then Milton came in with a girl and a small boy. The girl was blond with short hair. Her name was KC and she was Milton's wife. He met her at Harvard. The boy had red hair and was 5. His name was Jared. The kids went to greet each other. I went and gave Milton and KC a hug.
" Milton. How are you? We haven't seen you in forever." I said.
" Good. I was just elected as governor of Seaford. And KC has now opened her own law firm." He said.
" Wow. Congrats you guys." I said. Milton and KC then went to talk to Jack an Ky. Then Jerry came in. I have him a big hug.
" Jerry. Its been too long." I said.
" I agree. But you know fighting for a country isn't always easy." He said. See he was now in the army after being kicked out of Bobby's because Bobby lost his money.
" The kids have missed you." I said. I made Jerry the god-father of both the kids and he stays at the dojo when he isn't across the ocean.
" I have missed them too." He said. The kids went out back to play and us adults stayed inside. We all sat around and talked until I stood up tapping on my glass. See only Jack, Ky, and I knew about the new baby so I waited till tonight to tell everyone. Everyone looked up at me.
" Hey everyone. Thank you so much for coming. Now I have waited till we all got here to tell you something. I'm pregnant." I said. Everyone cheered and congratulate me and Jack. We all talked some more before Jerry spoke up.
" Hey do you guys want to practice karate again. Just for old time sake." He asked. Everyone agreed but Milton stopped me.
" Do you think you should?" He asked.
" Like I keep telling Jack. I'm two months pregnant not nine months. I'm fine." I said. He moved. We all practiced and it was fun. Then we talked more until everyone had to go. We all hugged and said goodbye and everyone promised to visit more. It was a great night that I got to spend with a better bigger family.
