So we were on the plane. I sat by jack. Milton sat by rudy. Jerry sat by a blond girl who he was hitting on. When we got to paris we grabbed our bags and looked for our ride. There were two tall guys with black hair holding a sign saying WASBIE WARRIORS WELCOME. Jack took my hand and we all walked toward the guys with our bags.
" Are you the Wasbie Warriors?" One asked.
" Yes we are." Rudy said.
" Which are Jack and Kate?" The other said. Me and jack stepped forward.
" You two will ride to the hotel with your friends than people will get all your bags. After that you all will be taken to the dojo where you will get your jersy and belts. Your friends will sit on your bench. You will meet your fellow contestints. There are ten other pairs of two. Each from differnt dojos." One explaned in a french accent. They lead us out to a limo. We all climed in. Jack sat beside me. He had his arm around my shoulder.
" I can't wait. I hope everyones nice." I said.
" No one is going to be nice. They'll all be tring to get you out of the race anyway they can. Jack, didnt you tell her about your tournament in China?" Jerry said. Milton, who sat beside him, gave him a hit on the arm.
" Jack? What happened?" I asked. He sighed a turned toward the window.
" Not everyone will be thrilled to have you there. A couple years ago i went to china. Everything was fine until i found out my cousin was there." He explained.
" Ky?" I asked.
" Yes. He was scared of competition so he sent his friends to take me out. Luckly they only broke my wrist. Then when i found out, he tried fighting me. In the fight he fell over the wall but i caught him. He said that he would have let me fall. He snapped my wrist. I was able to throw him into a table to get away. That was the end. I went back to seaford the next day."
" Wow. I thought that it would be a clean fight." I said.
" Not always." Jack said. We all sat quiet all the way there.
