Ch. 20- The Tournament Ends.

~I'm back to Kate's POV. There is going to be one or two more chapters after this. I don't know if I'll do a third book but if you want me to then comment. Thanks.~
So today is the start of the last two days of the tournament. I was so scared. I really wanted to win. Not just for me but also for Jack and the guys. I heard it will come down to two teams today and then tomorrow the guys will fight first and then the girls. I was hoping that I went all the way but still didn't have to face up against Kim. Yesterday we found out London had to forfeit because Alice was involved in an accident. So that just left five of us left. I put on my jersey and pulled my hair up. I went to Jack's room so we could walk to meet the others. I knocked on his door.
" Hey beautiful." Jack said opening the door and seeing that it was me.
" Hey handsome. Ready to go?" He had on his jersey with his hair in a bun.
" Yeah just let me grab something." He let me in. I went over and sat on his bed as he went over to his dresser. He put something in his pocket.
" What did you put in your pocket?" I asked.
" Just my good luck charm."
" Why is it your good luck charm?"
" Because a beautiful and sweet girl gave it to me." He turned and started to walk over to me.
" She must be really lucky." I stood and walked over to him.
" On the contrary, I am the one that is very lucky to have her." He said closing the space.
" So what is this good luck charm?" He held up the keychain I gave him just the other day than put it back in his pocket.
" Aww. Your amazing." He put his hands on my hips as I put my hands around his neck.
" Your the amazing one." Then placed a kiss on my lips. It felt like forever. Not that I was complaining. I could stay here in his arms forever. I felt safe and secure. Then there was a knock on the door. We pulled away. He went to the door obviously upset with who ever interrupted our moment. Which cause me to giggle. Jack opened the door to reveal the guys.
" Hey are you two coming or what?" Rudy said.
" They were probably to busy kissing again." Jerry said making kissy faces. Everyone laughed except for me and Jack.
" We did not...." Jack started.
" Yeah no way....." I started.
" Ok. Maybe." We both said together.
" Told you. You both owe me five bucks." Jerry said. Rudy and Milton dug in their pockets and gave five bucks to Jerry.
" You guys bet on us?" I asked.
" Oh that's nothing. You should hear how much we bet on how much you two do when you guys when." Milton said.
" I don't want to know." I put my hands up and stepped away from the the guys.
" Are we all ready?" Jack asked. We all nodded and walked out. When we got there we took our seats.
" You all have come so far and are very talented. But there can only be one country to take home the gold. As you know two teams will survive today and go on to compete against each tomorrow. So let's get this started. First is Maria Melody with France against Brita Murphy from Ireland." The main sensei said. The two girls started out. Brita had strength but over estimated her power. She went to charge at Maria but then Maria moved out of the way and Brita was going at such a strong force she couldn't stop then ran right out of the circle. Maria won. It went on like this for awhile. Until it was my turn. I was the last of the girls branch. I was up against Alice's replacement Georgia. She was smaller than I was but I'm not dumb enough to underestimate her. We started. She made the first move. I blocked it than did a spin kick. She blocked it. We throw punches back and forth until I was at the edge of the mat. This is it. I thought. Until she did a spin kick and I dunked. She flew out of the circle. I won! I really won! I ran over to my friends. Than Jack was up to open the guys branch. He was against Conall Walsh. If Jack won this Ireland will officially be out of the race. I gonna skip over the details and just tell you it came really close but Jack did indeed win. Ireland was out. Which left the race between China, France, and America. I was hoping China would fail so I will finally get rid of her. But you know what. I'm never lucky enough. In the end Kim got to stay.
" Our two teams moving on is.... America with Kate Green and Jack Brewer." Me and Jack hugged then turned and hugged the guys. "And our other team moving on is..." Please be France or any other team but China. Please. "China with Kim Crawford and Chang young." Come on I said please. Kim and Chang hugged.
" China and America will compete tomorrow. The winner will get the trophy and will be able to bring victory and honor to your dojo. After the championships you all will be able to stay in Paris for one more week before your flights arrive. That is our gift to you. Good luck and Have a great day." Then he walked off the stage. Everyone started to leave.
" Ok you two have to practice extra hard for tomorrow. So you will be here all night. With no distractions." We stared at him.
" What?" Jack asked.
" Yeah. You mean we are all going to stay here till who knows when practicing??!!" I asked.
" No, No." Rudy said. Me and Jack sighed in relief.
" Good." Me and Jack said at the same time.
" Yeah. I said no distractions. So Jerry and Milton won't be allowed to stay." He said.
" Well I guess at least Your going be here Rudy." I said.
" What made you think that? I'm going to a movie. Good luck." Then he grabbed Milton and Jerry and ran out of the dojo leaving me and Jack.
" Ok we can do this. Where do we start?" I asked. He shrugged. "Ok your not helping." I put my hands on my hips and looked at him. He started laughing.
" Come on just relax." He said coming closer.
" Your right. Let's start by sparring." We got into position. It was close but then I grabbed his arm and flipped him.
" Were you even trying? Or were you letting me win?" I asked. He proper himself up on his elbows.
" Yeah. I let you win. Let's go with that." We laughed and I helped him up. After awhile I looked at the time. It was midnight already. I was getting tired and I could tell Jack was too.
" Hey Jack. Its late. why don't we get out of here." I suggested.
" Your right. Let's go." He grabbed my hand and lead me out the door. We had just left when I realized I left my bag.
" Hey I'll be right back. I forgot my bag." He nodded and I ran back. I opened the door and grabbed my bag but when I turned to leave someone grabbed me. They turned me around and I noticed it was Ky.
" Ok you have to stop doing that." I told him. He gave me a sly smile.
" Sorry but I came here to warn you."
" Warn me about what?" I asked.
" Your dad he has gone crazy again and there's something you need to know about Kim."
" What?"
" Your father has...." He started but was cut off.
" Hey Kate. Are you ok?" Jack yelled.
" Ky tell me later. Right now you have to leave." And with that he was gone just as Jack walked in.
" Hey are you ok? I thought I heard talking." He said coming closer to me.
" Oh I was just on my phone. You know me always on my phone." I nervously laughed. He looked at me confused but then shook it off.
" Ok then let's go get some sleep. Tomorrows a big day." He smiled leading me out. You have no idea. I thought.
~Next Day~
I woke up and did the usual. Took a shower, got dressed in my jersey, pulled my hair in a bun, and put on my black belt. I walked out the door and ran into Milton.
" Hey Milton." I said.
" Hey Kate. Are you ready for today?"
" Yeah but I'm also nervous." I said. Just as I finished I felt an arm go around my waist and instantly knew who it was.
" You shouldn't be nervous. You will do great." Jack said from beside me.
" But this is the end. I'm going up against Kim." I said.
" You've gone up against black belts just like Kim all month. And you beat each one. I know you can win this." Jack gave me a kiss on the cheek.
" Thanks." The rest of the guys meet up with us and we headed out to the dojo. When we got there everyone headed to there spots. But Kim walked up to us.
" Hey Jack. Hey Kate."
" Hi Kim. What's up?" Jack asked.
" I was coming to wish you good luck." She said sweetly. Yeah I wasn't buying it.
" Thanks Kim." Jack said. I stayed quiet and snuggled closer to Jack to tell Kim to back off. Jack must have felt that I was uncomfortable so he put his arm around my shoulders.
" How are you doing, Kate? Are you nervous?" She asked me.
" I'm fine thank you." I said as nicely as I could. She glared at me then turned and went to her bench. Everyone sat down and the Paris dojo sensei came out.
" Today we will have two amazing teams compete. They have made it this far. And I congratulate them. But only one team can win. So lets have Jack Brewer and Chang Young on the mat." Jack got up and went to the mat. If Jack won this it would be up to me to win it. If he doesn't win it will be up to the sensei based on how.I perform. So basically either way presser is on me. Just great. Jack and Chang started. Chang came at Jack but Jack easily blocked it. Then Jack did a Roundhouse kick. Chang back away a little but still stayed in the circle. He did another kick but Chang blocked it. Jack did a final spin kick with sent Chang flying out of the circle. Jack won!! I was so happy. Jack ran up and lifted me in his arms spinning me around. When he put me down he place a kiss on my lips. When we pulled away we sat down with his arm around my waist.
" Now we will have Kate Green and Kim Crawford compete. If Kate wins this it's all over. But if Kim wins it will be up to me who takes all the glory. So good luck." He walked off and Kim and I approached the mat we took our bows than started. She threw a punch that I blocked. I did a spin kick which she also blocked. We went back and forth like this for a while until she did a palm heel strike which caused me to end up at the edge of the mat. I knew that with one final blow would take me out of the circle. Right before the final strike could come she looked at me with her eyes glowing green!!! The power. Ky said my dad was evil again and did something to Kim. So is he controlling her?? She came at me and I grabbed her arm and threw her out of the circle. I was scared to death at what was going on. I ran to Jack. I had to tell him. But before I got to him I was pulled to the sensei.
" Kate won. America is this year's winer!!!!" He shouted. Jack ran up and hugged me but I couldn't bring myself to be happy. When it was over everyone was leaving and Jack held my hand.
" What's wrong?" He asked.
" What?"
" You didn't even try to act excited that we won."
" It's just.." But then Kim came up.
" Hey. I'm happy for you two." She said.
" Thanks." Jack said.
" Jack can you give us a second? Us girls need to talk." Kim said. Jack looked at me and even though I didn't want him to go I knew Kim would have someway to get rid of him. So I nodded. He smiled at me and left to meet the guys.
" What do you want Kim?" I asked.
" I know Ky told you what we were up too. He just couldn't keep his mouth shut. He was never suppose to actually fall for you but you know. Now he will get the same punishment you will get."
" Don't touch him!" I yelled at her.
" I have to hand it to you. Stringing on two boys. Even though I tried everything to break you and Jack up."
" I knew it."
" Yeah. But you can say goodbye to both boys now."
" I have to go tell Jack." I started to ran but she grabbed me by the arm.
" Not so fast. Your father wants to have a little family reunion." With that she put something in my arm and I blacked out...

Ok so the tournament is over but the book still has two more chapters. Who should Kate end up with? And should I do a third book? In also wondering on if I should do a lab rats fanfic? Anyway vote and comment. See you next chapter!!
