As the bell rang, signaling the start of another class, Fae, Ally, Sophie, and Fiona settled into their seats, their attention focused on the front of the room. They exchanged glances, curiosity evident in their expressions as they wondered what today's lesson would entail.

Their teacher entered the room, a stack of papers in hand, and cleared his throat to get their attention. "Good morning, class," he began, his voice carrying across the room. "I have an announcement to make."

The students leaned in, their interest piqued as they waited for the teacher to continue.

"I'm pleased to inform you that we'll be starting a senior tutoring program," the teacher announced, a smile spreading across his face. "Seniors will have the opportunity to help tutor juniors in preparation for their upcoming exams."

Excited murmurs broke out among the students as they exchanged glances, the prospect of peer tutoring sparking their interest.

"The best part is, tutors will have the chance to pick their own students," the teacher continued, his tone enthusiastic. "So, if you're interested in participating as either a tutor or a student, please sign up on the sheets I'll be passing around."

As the teacher began distributing the sign-up sheets, Fae, Ally, Sophie, and Fiona exchanged excited looks, already discussing who they wanted to partner with for the program.

As the sign-up sheets made their way around the classroom, Fae, Ally, and Sophie eagerly jotted down their names, their excitement palpable as they discussed potential tutoring partnerships.

But when the sheet reached Fiona, she hesitated, her brow furrowed with uncertainty. "I don't think I want to join," she admitted, her voice tinged with reluctance.

Fae glanced over at her friend, concern flickering in her eyes. "Are you sure, Fiona?" she asked gently, reaching out to place a comforting hand on her arm.

Fiona shook her head, her expression resolute. "I don't think it's for me," she replied.

Ally nodded understandingly, her mind already racing with thoughts of potential tutoring sessions. "That's okay, Fiona," she said, offering her friend a reassuring smile. "We'll handle it. And who knows, maybe David will sign up and pick me to tutor," she added with a playful wink.

As the girls talked about the tutoring program, a familiar figure approached their group. It was Maddy, their close friend, her mischievous grin lighting up her face as she joined the conversation.

"Hey, girls! Did I hear you talking about signing up to be tutored by hot seniors?" Maddy teased, winking playfully at each of them.

Fae laughed, shaking her head at Maddy's antics. "You know us too well, Maddy," she replied with a grin. "But yeah, we're all in."

Sophie, however, couldn't hide her apprehension as she chimed in. "I'm just praying my senior ex, Adam, isn't joining," she confessed, a hint of anxiety creeping into her tone.

Ally patted Sophie's arm reassuringly. "Don't worry, Soph. Even if he does, you'll be fine," she reassured her friend, her confidence unwavering.

Maddy shot Sophie a sympathetic look before turning back to the group with a sly grin. "Well, here's to hoping for some hot tutors and drama-free sessions!" she declared, raising an imaginary toast.

As kept on Maddy joking about the thought of being tutored by hot seniors, Fae couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. But amidst the laughter and banter, her mind drifted to one particular senior: Kai.

In the recesses of her thoughts, Fae found herself daydreaming about the possibility of Kai being her tutor. She imagined the two of them sitting together, poring over textbooks and sharing inside jokes.

There was something about Kai's calm demeanor and sharp intellect that drew Fae in, sparking a desire to learn from him in more ways than one.

But as quickly as the fantasy had formed, Fae shook her head, banishing the thoughts from her mind. She couldn't afford to get her hopes up—after all, there was no guarantee that Kai would even sign up to be a tutor, let alone choose her as his student.

As Fae's thoughts swirled with thoughts of Kai, she found herself suddenly blurting out her revelation to her friends. "Guys, I think I like Kai," she confessed, her words tumbling out before she could stop them.

Maddy's eyes widened in shock, a gasp escaping her lips as she recoiled slightly. "Not that senior, gosh, out of everyone," she exclaimed, her tone filled with disbelief.

Fae's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she realized the weight of her admission. "I know, I know, it's crazy," she muttered, feeling a of self-consciousness wash over her.

Sophie, however, didn't hesitate to chime in, her voice laced with skepticism. "He's a known whore," she stated matter-of-factly, her words cutting through the air like a knife. "My ex told me some things about him."

Fae's heart sank at Sophie's harsh words, her mind reeling with doubt and uncertainty. Was Kai really the person she thought he was, or had she been blinded by her own infatuation?

As her friends exchanged worried glances, Fae couldn't help but feel a sense of unease settling in the pit of her stomach. Perhaps her feelings for Kai were nothing more than a foolish fantasy, destined to crumble under the weight of reality. But deep down, a part of her still held onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, there was more to Kai than met the eye.

Fae's heart sank as her friends piled on their negative opinions about Kai. She desperately wanted to defend him, but the doubts began to creep in, clouding her judgment.

Fiona nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I heard he's problematic as fuck," she added, her tone grim.

Fae felt a knot form in her stomach as she struggled to reconcile her own feelings with the damning descriptions of Kai. "But... but that's not true," she protested, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I talked to him, and he's completely different from what you guys are saying."

Maddy raised an eyebrow, skepticism written all over her face. "Oh, really?" she quipped, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Fae's frustration bubbled to the surface. "Yes, really!" she insisted, her voice rising with conviction. "He's not just some asshole player like you guys are making him out to be."

friends exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to respond to Fae. But deep down, Fae knew what she felt was real, and she wasn't about to let anyone else's opinions change that.

Fae bristled at her friends' warnings, feeling defensive of her own feelings. "I know what I'm doing," she insisted, her voice tinged with frustration. "I'm not some naive little girl who's going to fall head over heels for him. It's just a one-time thing, okay?"

Fiona sighed, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're kidding yourself, Fae," she replied, her tone tinged with concern. "You can't just turn your feelings on and off like a damn faucet."

Fae's jaw clenched as she fought to maintain her composure. "I'm not romanticizing anything," she snapped, her voice sharp. "I'm just having fun."

But Sophie wasn't convinced, her expression serious as she leaned in closer. "Listen, Fae, it's all fun and games until someone catches feelings," she warned, her tone grave. "And when two players mess around with each other, someone always ends up getting hurt."

Fae's resolve wavered for a moment as she considered Sophie's words. Deep down, she knew there was truth to what her friend was saying, but she refused to let fear dictate her actions. "I'll be fine," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can handle myself."

With that, she pushed aside her doubts and turned her attention back to the conversation, determined to prove her friends wrong. But as the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, a nagging sense of unease lingered in the back of her mind, a silent reminder of the risks she was taking.

She knew what she was doing , she knew damn well but she wasn't strong enough to resist him. She wanted him, one way or another.
