As the school day came to a close, Fae found herself surrounded by her friends, their laughter filling the air with warmth and camaraderie. Suddenly, like a pleasant surprise, Kai appeared, a small smile playing on his lips as he handed her the hello kitty figurine. Before Fae could even utter a word of thanks, he turned and left, leaving her feeling both elated and slightly flustered. In the quiet of her car ride home, she couldn't help but send him a "thank you" message. His simple response, filled with genuine kindness, warmed her heart, reminding her of the special connection they shared.

Throughout most of January, Fae found herself floating on cloud nine as her connection with Kai deepened. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and shared secrets that drew them closer with each passing day. Her friends, sensing the undeniable chemistry between them, rallied behind her, encouraging Fae to take the leap and confess her feelings. With each supportive word from her friends and every tender moment shared with Kai, Fae felt her heart swell with joy, believing that perhaps, just perhaps, she had found something truly special.

February 3, 2024

Maddy's birthday bash was in full swing, the vibrant atmosphere pulsating with energy as laughter and music filled the room. Sophie, Ally, and Maddy would occasionally slip away to the bathroom for a quick vape break before returning to the festivities. The air was alive with excitement as they danced and played rounds of truth or dare. With each dare, things heated up, flirtation lacing the air, but it was all in good fun.

Amidst the playfulness, Fae's friends began to pressure her into confessing her feelings to Kai. Sophie, mischievous as ever, even snatched Fae's phone, intent on composing a confession text. But Fae managed to wrestle her phone back, feeling the weight of her friends' expectations and her own conflicted emotions.

Seeking a moment of respite from the party mayhem, Fae found herself seated with her friends, including Sam andMike, her trusted guy best friend. They offered words of encouragement, assuring her that 

Sam goes on "If Kai rejects you, it would be his loss."

Mike continues "Because Fae, you a undeniably one of the prettiest girls at school, while he is just a nerd." Despite their attempts to boost her confidence, 

Fae couldn't shake off her doubts and insecurities. In the end, she decided she needed more time to gather her thoughts and muster up the courage to confess her feelings.

Fae smiled gratefully at her friends, their support giving her a glimmer of courage. "Thanks, guys. I'll think about it, okay? Just give me some time."

Ally, sensing the tension, decided to lighten the mood. "Alright, enough pressure! Let's just enjoy Maddy's birthday bash!"

February 7, 2024

Fae's family ski trip had been a blast, but there was a cloud looming over her happiness. Kai hadn't been replying to her texts, and her heart felt heavier with each unanswered message. She tried to shake off the feeling, convincing herself that maybe he was just busy or didn't have 

signal. But as the days went by and still no reply, her worry grew.

February 10, 2024

 Fae found herself tossing and turning in her bed, unable to sleep. She grabbed her phone and sent another text to Kai, pouring out her feelings, hoping for a response that never came. Tears welled up in her eyes as she cried herself to sleep, feeling abandoned and alone.

The next morning, she woke up to a ping on her phone. It was a reply from Kai. Relief flooded through her as she eagerly opened the message. But her relief quickly turned to frustration as she read his response. He commented on her story, saying she looked gorgeous and mentioning her "undoubtedly big boobs." Fae blushed at the comment but couldn't help feeling salty about it.
