Fiona stirred from her sleep, her eyes fluttering open as the sound of rocks hitting her window shattered the tranquility of the night. "What the hell?" she whispered to herself, sitting up in bed and peering out into the darkness.
Her heart sank as she recognized the figure standing below, tossing pebbles at her window. Of course, it was Sam, her persistent ex-boyfriend. With a resigned sigh, she unlatched the window and allowed him to climb inside.
"What do you want, Sam?" Fiona asked, her voice tinged with annoyance as she crossed her arms over her chest.
Fiona's irritation grew as Sam's pleading continued, his words tumbling out in a desperate stream. "Come on, Fiona, you know we're meant to be together," he insisted, his voice tinged with frustration.Fiona shook her head, her patience wearing thin. "No, Sam, we're not," she retorted, her tone firm. "I can't keep going back to this toxic cycle with you."
Sam's expression twisted with frustration as he clenched his fists at his sides. "But I love you, Fiona," he protested, his voice cracking with emotion.
Fiona scoffed, rolling her eyes at his declaration. "Love isn't enough, Sam," she snapped, her temper flaring. "You need to grow the fuck up and learn how to treat people with respect."
Sam's face fell at her words, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "I'm sorry, okay?" he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll do better, I promise."
But Fiona remained unmoved, her resolve unwavering. "It's too late for apologies, Sam," she replied, her voice tinged with finality. "I deserve better than this, and so do you."
With that, she watched as Sam retreated through the window, disappearing into the night. Alone once more, Fiona couldn't help but feel a sense of liberation wash over her, knowing that she had finally broken free from the chains of their toxic relationship. And as she settled back into bed, she vowed to never look back, ready to embrace whatever the future held for her.
Life is all about growth and never turning back, becuase what happens in the past is meant to stay there and you are not supposed to go back, you can miss it, but whatever you do, don't go back because then it turns into a toxic cycle of waiting for things that just won't seem to happen and the worst part of it is that, you won't even be able to leave.

Kai leaned over the chemistry textbook, his voice low and patient as he explained the intricacies of molecular structures to Fae. "So, basically, when you combine these two compounds, you get a chemical reaction that—"
Fae nodded eagerly, her eyes glued to the page as she absorbed his words. "Got it," she said, a hint of excitement in her voice. "Thanks for breaking it down for me, Kai. You make this shit sound less boring."
Kai chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes. "Hey, it's all part of the job," he replied, flashing her a grin. "But seriously, if you have any questions, just ask."
Fae returned to her assignment, she couldn't help but feel a warmth spreading through her chest at Kai's encouragement. She glanced up from her notes to find him watching her intently, a faint smile playing on his lips. He was admiring her... to an extenent of him staring at her in an analyzing way.
Fae focused on her assignment, she sensed Kai's gaze lingering on her, his eyes tracing the contours of her face with a careful and deliberate scrutiny. She could feel the weight of his stare, like a gentle caress against her skin, as he studied her features with a quiet intensity.
And as she stole a glance at him, she caught a glimpse of the admiration and adoration shining in his eyes. It was as if he were seeing her for the first time, truly seeing her, and finding beauty in every imperfection.
Suddenly, he blurted out a compliment, his voice catching her off guard. "You know, Fae, you're really pretty," he said, his tone sincere.
Fae's cheeks flushed crimson as she met his gaze, feeling a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. "Thanks... Kai," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Their eyes locked in a moment of intense connection, the air crackling with electricity between them. Fae could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she savored the intensity of the moment, the tension between them palpable. The eye contact went crazy. It felt like for hours.
And as they continued to gaze into each other's eyes, Fae couldn't help but wonder if this chemistry they shared went far beyond.
There was a sense of infinity in Kai's eyes, a boundless expanse of time and space stretching out before her. With each passing moment, Fae felt herself falling deeper and deeper into the abyss, losing herself in the vastness of his gaze.
Fae broke the intense eye contact, feeling a rush of nervous energy coursing through her veins. "Um, I should probably go catch up with my friends," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kai's smirk widened as he watched her go, his eyes trailing her every move with intensity. He leaned back in his chair, his gaze lingering on her retreating figure until she disappeared from view.
As Fae made her way out of the library, she could feel Kai's eyes on her, like a touch against her skin. She quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to shake off the sensation of his gaze following her.
When she finally found Fiona, she couldn't wait to spill the details of her encounter with Kai. "You won't believe what just happened," she exclaimed, her voice tinged with excitement. "Kai was practically undressing me with his eyes in the library!"
Fiona's eyes widened in surprise as Fae launched into her story.
"So he was eye fucking you?" Fiona says in an oddly calm tone."I GUESS???" Fae was more confused than ever.
"Damn, girl, that's hot," Fiona remarked, a grin spreading across her lips.
Fae's cheeks flushed crimson at Fiona's response, a mixture of embarrassment and excitement flooding through her veins. "I know, right?" she replied, unable to suppress the grin spreading across her own face. "I mean, it was intense. Like, really intense."
Fiona nodded in agreement, a knowing twinkle in her eye. "Sounds like there's some serious chemistry between you two," she teased, nudging Fae playfully.
Fae rolled her eyes, but couldn't deny the truth in Fiona's words. "Yeah, maybe," she admitted, a hint of uncertainty creeping into her voice. "I don't know, though. It's complicated."
Fiona shrugged, her expression sympathetic. "Remember though, He is a manwhore but-," she advised, offering Fae a reassuring smile. "Who knows? Maybe there's something real there."
Fae was happy, very happy, enjoying the moment while it lasted, becuase you never know how shit ends. Right?
