Almost eighteen hours had passed since Ohm had received the call about P'Earth's injury. Eighteen hours and the Triad had no trace of who might be responsible. Ohm was seething.

Both P'Earth and P'Mix were doing considerably well as compared to last night and that was the only fact that Ohm was grateful for. Well, that, and the fact that as soon as him Mum had heard about the attack, she had immediately flown back to take care of her sons. For them, just her presence was healing enough.

P'Mix had gained consciousness shortly after his fall. Thankfully he was not completely in shock and the baby was fine. But he was not doing well mentally. He was worried out of his mind and as a result not taking care of himself. Ohm wanted to be comforting as much as he could, but with his blood lust for the assailants and annoyance about the fact that the investigation had made no progress, he was not the best candidate. This is why, Ohm thought, his Mum's presence was vital, and this was one of the reasons that he had been sent back to his office to keep his 'angry self away from Davika's babies'. His mom's words, not his.

Another reason that he was back at work, instead of being at the hospital was that he had to maintain the façade that Pawat Hotels and the Triad were not affected by what had happened. The attack on P'Earth was already all over the news, a perk of being a celebrity family, and he had to show that nothing and no one could shake what they had tried so hard to build. This was a message to his enemies.

P'Earth on the other hand, was still in the medically induced coma. Jimmy had explained to Ohm how that was necessary to help him heal. They may have to keep him in the same condition for a few days.

Just thinking about P'Earth made Ohm's blood boil. He was sure that this attack was linked to the attempt made on his life a while ago. Someone had it out for the Triad and the Pawat family and Ohm had no leads.

Obviously, as the doctor had declared both members of his family stable and as his mother had made it to the hospital, the first thing that Ohm had done was to trace Luke and the rest of his crew. If the backup had reached on time, P'Earth would not be in this condition.

The entire brigade was found in another hospital after running the GPS attached to their watches. Apparently, as they had been on their way to Bangana, their car was hit by a very conveniently present drunk driver, and they were all incapacitated. Fortunately, enough, none of them were dead, but had received major injuries.

All of them, except Luke, who was not in the car with them, but was following behind on a bike. That had made Ohm suspicious but right now he did not have any evidence against Luke, so he had to satisfy himself with merely interrogating him. As Drake went back to Bangana to see what had happened, Ohm had dragged Luke into the interrogation room, starting the process with a punch to his jaw.

Hours of intimidation had only given him the fact that Luke had obtained the information from his street informants with convincing proof, so he was sure that the exchange was going to take place that night, but beyond that either everything was a coincidence or a trap, of which Luke was another victim.

Useless.

Frustratingly, he picked up his phone again to call Drake for an update. He knew he should not be pressurizing him, but Ohm could not help his actions anymore.

He wanted bloodshed and he wanted it now.

His thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on his cabin's door.

"Sir, Mr. Korn from Blue Cabs is here to see you." That was Perth.

Blue Cabs had recently partnered with Pawat Hotels to provide cabs exclusively for the hotel guests. The deal had been closed a few weeks ago. Korn Ruangwiwat was the CEO of the company, a cold calculating man, but an efficient one, nonetheless. Ohm could easily say that he may not like Korn personally, but professionally he knew Korn was ambitious.
