Kylie West had just walked through her front door, vivienne had just dropped her off after her, kylie and minnie went out to lunch

"mom im home !" kylie yelled out. it was oddly quiet in the west household, meaning either her brother was out or everyone was in the backyard

it was funny that those were the only two plausible options, but nonetheless it was true. the west house was usually beaming with noise

she slipped off her beaten down converse, leaving her in her darkwash jean shorts and a black spaghetti strap tank top.

kylie stood there for a second, taking in the rare silence, it was something she loved. she couldnt say she hated loud noise though, growing up around it made it comforting

but sometimes silence was all kylie wanted. thats why shes so eager to get her license, whenever she needed quiet she could just leave

she decided to go grab a gatorade from the kitchen before going on the hunt for her family. kylie was pretty sure they were home, or else her mom would have texted her otherwise

the silence made kylie feel the need to be quiet, not wanting to disturb the peace and harmony without her brothers fighting.

as she cracked open the gatorade she ventured upstairs, "hello ? mom, dad ?" she called out, earning no response

kylie pulled her phone out of her back pocket, maybe her mom did text her and she just missed it ? nope, nothing.

next stop was the backyard, which was now the most likely spot for her family. maybe they were grilling and kylie just hadnt smelled it yet ?

she jogged down the steps, trying not to let the criminal minds thoughts flood to her mind. ever since kylie began watching the show she was worried it would happen in reality

"every thing is fine, they're just outside" kylie repeated to herself, as she sped walked through the kitchen and to the back door

kylie let out an immediate sigh of relief at the sight of her brothers attempting to wrestle. she opened the back door and walked out

shannon smiled at the sight of her only daughter, "hey kitty, you just get home ?" her mom asked, turning away from her conversation with... cassie ?

her eyes trailed over the entire backyard, being met with all three neumann brothers and their dad, spencer. why were they over ?

"hey, mom. yeah a couple minutes ago, tried to find you guys, thought you were kidnapped or some thing" kylie told her mother, finding a seat next to shannon

kylies mom only playfully rolled her eyes, "you watch too much criminal minds, everybodys fine" she reassured her daughter, patting kylies knee

cassie smiled at the mother and daughter interaction. "hello kylie" cassie said with a wave

the teen sent back a kind smile, cassie was a very sweet lady. "hi mrs. neumann, its nice to see you again" kylie told her politely

shannon had always raised her kids with manners, and they always used them, except with eachother. "kylie, come here ! i wanna show you a new trick i learned" luke called her over

kylie stood up, "excuse me" she spoke before walking towards her brothers, and dropping the polite mannerism

"hey lu" kylie ruffled his hair as she joined the group of teens, "hello everyone else" she added on after, just to say hello
