Doctor Annabelle (GxG)

Part 33

"Hello, Dr Annabelle" The owner of Delia's school greeted me then stared at Angelina who was on my side.

"Mr Hennen, I am here on an unhappy note. My daughter is getting bullied" I got straight to the point staring at the old man across from me.

"Bullied? Dr Annabelle, I can assure you that our academy looks after the kids thoroughly. Nobody gets bullied on these grounds"

"Are you calling my daughter a liar?" My voice dropped an octave.

"No, no of course not" he patted his sweaty forehead with a handkerchief.

"Some of the kids are bullying my daughter. You have different ages in your academy and I'm well aware that Delia is the youngest. These older kids are feeling threatened and now my daughter is facing bullying. Your academy is not safe. I can raise this issue to a whole new level Mr Hennen"

"I will talk to the kids and..."

"I want you to investigate who is tormenting my daughter and when I come to pick her up today, I want a meeting with the bullies and their parents. If not then I will file a report about your school. I'm sure you don't want those bad reviews"

In my opinion, that meeting went well. Angelina went to her house while I drove to work. My mind went to Valentina. I had a strategy to help her stand on her own without needing professional help for the rest of her life. As much as I did not want to, Valentina had to to be put on medication.

"Today we are going out for a walk" I announced standing over Valentina's bed.

"I don't really feel like moving" Valentina mumbled still curled up in bed.

"I was not suggesting Valentina, I don't know what made you think I was giving you an option"

"But...I just don't feel like doing anything. I feel so tired" She said looking completely exhausted

"I'm just going to count down. 3...2.."

"Yes, mistress" Valentina grumbled getting up slowly. I ignored what she called me then opened the door for her.

Valentina threw on a sweater with the Facility badge. We walked in silence until we reached outside. I grabbed the small bag I left at the cateferia then made way past the small gate that led to the huge orchard located right after the garden. We passed a few patients with their doctors. Most of them were older people because it was part of their routine. People past 30 usually found gardening and nature very calming.

Valentina looked around as we passed by then we were alone again. We reached the orchard gate and I had a key to get in. There were so many exotic trees and most of them were in season.

"Welcome to the garden of Eden" I joked

"Wow, this place is my type of vibe" Valentina's sad tone was gone left with a drooling excited one.

"Well help yourself Eve"

"Oh hell no, do I look like I talk to snakes?" Valentina glared at me

"No, snakes won't even approach you because you look like trouble"

Valentina scoffed then walked past the oranges and apples. I just followed her to see what she was looking for.

"Bananas?" She asked after circling around.

"Not their season but past the mangoes" I pointed at the opposite direction.

"Mangoes!" She skipped away forgetting about me. I had no idea she loved Fruits but Valentina loved eating so this was definitely her zone. I found her sitting on a branch eating a mango like she was possessed.
