Two weeks had passed and, to her surprise, Andi's life was running smoothly. Colby had agreed to let her stay at his place while she looked for apartments that were nearby. Her job had picked up quickly, and on top of her manager position, she had been promoted to a model for the clothes that were sold in her branch. She and Colby had gotten even closer, and her relationships with Sam, Jake, and Corey had gotten super strong. The five of them were always together, whether it be pizza nights on Fridays or breakfast together on Wednesdays, and every minute in between. She had met their girlfriends, Tara, Kat, and Devyn, and had gotten pretty close with the three girls. The fans were still going nuts over the post of her and Colby, and she had quickly grown from 203 followers on Instagram to 10,782, which was crazy in itself. So far everything was going great.

It was 5:30 when she had gotten off of work that day, and the apartment was quiet. Colby had been out with Sam and Kat all day, so she had some alone time to unwind from the busy shift that she had dragged her way through. She took a relaxing bath and then got changed into a pair of Jake's No-Name sweats and an oversized t-shirt she had borrowed from Colby. She plopped down on the couch and turned on a true crime show, hoping to catch up on an episode she had started a few days ago. She made it about ten minutes into the show before she fell asleep, her phone on silent from being at work all day.

Andi was a pretty light sleeper, which contrasted greatly with Colby, who made it impossible to get him out of bed, so when she felt a shift in the air a little while later the girl was immediately pulled awake. She quickly opened her eyes and was met with Jake standing over her, staring intently at her while she slept.

"Jesu- Jake!" She yelled, sitting up and clutching her chest. "You know I'm a light sleeper, you can't just stand over me like that!"

"Sorry dude," He shrugged. "I tried to call but you have me, like, blocked or some shit."

"No I don't," She laughed, picking up her phone. "I just have it on silent from work."

The boy nodded eagerly as she ended her sentence, and Andi narrowed her eyes.

"What are you so excited about?"

"Oh god, I thought you'd never ask," He burst out. "Okay, so you know that old fart that lives next door to me?"

"The one that complains when you watch Shrek too loudly?" She asked.

"Yeah, that dickhead," He was practically rocking back and forth in excitement now. "Well, I guess he finally got tired of our bullshit or something because he, like, up and moved all of his shit out this morning."

"Wait," Andi dropped her phone. "You mean there's an open apartment right across the hall? Jake, why didn't you tell me sooner? Someone could have gotten it by now!"

"Um, it's not my fault you're an old lady who keeps her phone off," He defended, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her towards the door.

"Wait-," She said as he dragged her out into the hallway. "Jake, I'm barefoot."

"Welcome to the caveman life brother," He laughed.

The two of them ran down to the front office of the apartment complex, the residents in the hallways giving them weird looks as they passed them. Soon enough the two of them reached the small glass room and were met with the front desk lady, Marge. One thing you must know about Marge is that she had to deal with the four friends constantly, so when Andi and Jake ran into the office, one barefoot and the other wearing a Minion onesie, she was not surprised at all.

"Oh goody, my favorite people," Marge sighed, scooting away from her computer to look at a notepad. "I don't have any complaints from your neighbors today, so what gives me the pleasure of having your company at 6:40 at night?"
