The group was only able to enjoy a few hours of peaceful slumber, appreciating the rest from the long day, before nature struck and Corey began to regret drinking an entire soda with his dinner.
"Jake," Corey whispered, rubbing his eyes. "Jake, wake up."
"Dude, what?" Jake groaned, turning to face Corey's cot that lay to his right.
"I have to go pee really bad," Corey said, sitting fully up on his makeshift bed.
"For fucks sake," Jake huffed, rolling over to face away from the boy and at the brick wall. "Wake Andi up, I'm too tired for this."
"Fine," Corey rolled his eyes. "Andi."
"Mm." The blonde girl hummed, not fully awake but stirred from her sleep by their voices.
"Andi, wake up," Corey pestered, beginning to get antsy.
"What the dick do you want?" Andi moaned, opening her eyes fully as her dream washed away into the shadows around them.
"I have to pee, brother," He repeated. "Jake's being a bitch and won't go with me, can you?"
"The things I put up with," Andi sighed lightly, pulling her face from where it was buried in the side of Colby's chest. "Yeah, give me a second."
"Thank you," Corey smiled, shuffling to put his shoes on.
"Shut up," Andi rubbed her eyes. She listened closely to make sure that Colby was still asleep before gently lifting his arm off of its place across her waist and slowly rolling off of the mattress so that it wouldn't squeak. The boy was a heavy sleeper, but she knew that her moving away from him might wake him up, and then he would make a big fuss about her going out in the dark. She did not want to deal with that scene at this moment.
The girl hit the ground with a thud and then sat up tiredly, rubbing her shoulder from where it had hit the concrete floor. She crammed her feet into her shoes, not even bothering to lace them, before standing up and staggering forward. She heard a shuffling at her feet and then Sam's arm shot out and wrapped around her hanging wrist, jerking her backward unexpectedly.
"Andi?" The blonde boy asked, still half asleep.
"Yeah, it's me," She whispered, reaching down to rub his shoulder reassuringly.
"What the heck are you doing?" He mumbled, propping himself up on his elbow.
"Corey's gotta go pee and he needs his mother to escort him," She sighed.
"Okay, be careful," Sam nodded, releasing her wrist. "Take the camera and yell for us if something happens since the phones don't work."
"Roger that," She nodded, stumbling forward to grab her phone that was sitting on the empty tub that had held their supplies earlier that day. She clicked it on and used the light to grab the big camera that was charging by Sam's backpack. She turned around and walked over to Corey, who was waiting by the door with a flashlight in his hand, and let out a yawn. She looked back at Colby's sleeping face one last time before nodding at the boy and following him out of the locker room into the main office area.
"Do you know how to work that thing?" Corey asked, motioning to the bigger filming camera in the girl's small hands.
"Somewhat," Andi nodded, turning the light and mic on. "Colby was showing me earlier, so I know the basics."
"Alright, let me see it, you're going to drop it," Corey laughed as Andi tried to grasp the large device. He pressed record and turned the camera around to face the two of them as they stood at the door to the building. "WHAT'S up guys, it's Sam and Colby here."
