Andi was jolted awake in a panic as her alarm blared directly into her ear, the default iPhone ringtone loudly echoing through the dark apartment. She reached for her phone and groggily pressed the off button, the bright white 3:00 am on the screen glaring at her. She needed to get up now if they wanted to be on time.

The girl groaned and rolled off of the couch, rubbing her eyes as she contemplated every decision leading up to this moment. Her socked feet silently slid across the wooden floors as she held her arms out and navigated her way across the pitch-black living room to Colby's bedroom. She quietly opened the door and peeked inside, and as she expected, the boy was fast asleep with his alarm blaring next to him. She giggled quietly and turned it off and then slid into his bathroom where she had left her clothes and makeup for the morning. She decided that since the boy only had to change and grab his bags she would let him sleep a little bit longer and just get herself ready first.

She changed into a pair of baggy ripped jeans, the waistband of her dark boxers peeking out from the top, and then slid into a black, cropped tank top and threw one of Colby's Now or Never hoodies on over it. She brushed out her shaggy hair and then threw it up in an extremely messy bun, her wispy bangs falling sloppily across her forehead. She brushed her teeth and then applied some light makeup, wanting to feel comfortable yet presentable on the long flight over. She tidied up the side of the bathroom that she had used and then put in her earrings and topped off the outfit with the array of rings and necklaces that she wore on the daily.

She gave her appearance one last reassuring look and then opened the door and turned the bedroom light on to wake the sleeping boy. To Andi's surprise, he didn't even move, still knocked out like a baby with his mouth slightly parted. She suppressed a laugh and took a moment to admire the adorable sleeping face he had, his resting features and messy blue hair leaving her breathless. She almost didn't want to wake him up, but knew that if she didn't now then they would definitely be late.

"Colby," She said softly, shaking his shoulder. "It's time to wake up."

"Mmm," The boy groaned and shook his head softly. He obviously wasn't awake enough to comprehend what she was saying, so she shook him again.

"Come on Colbs," She rolled her eyes. "I let you sleep in a little bit already so now it's time to get up."

"Noo," He mumbled, pushing his face into her warm hand.

Andi had to fight off a smile at his cuteness and thought for a moment. There was no way that he was going to wake up like this, and since he was so asleep that he wasn't comprehending anything...

She took a deep breath in before leaning down and gently kissing the boy's forehead. As if he had been shocked, Colby's eyes flew wide open and he blinked at her groggily, trying to comprehend what had just happened.

"Did you..?" He said, his morning voice gravelly as he rubbed his eyes.

"Did I what?" She asked innocently, pretending that nothing had happened. "C'mon, I let you sleep in a bit, so you better hurry and get ready."

"Oh fuck," He said, jumping out of bed quickly. "What time is it?"

"Four, so we have twenty minutes before we have to be at Sam's," Andi said, watching as the boy stumbled over to his closet.

"Shit," He mumbled, flipping through the hanging clothes in a half-asleep trance. "Okay, um, clothes."

"I'll go get our bags together and let you change," She laughed, walking out into the living room. She shut the bedroom door and then worked on gathering up their bags by the front door, stuffing her phone charger and makeup bag into her duffle.
