I'm sitting on the couch and scroll through my phone. Leah is upstairs and I think she is getting ready for our date. She has been going out shopping an hour ago. I don't know why since I just did that yesterday but I didn't ask her any more questions. I'm so excited for our date. I can't wait to spend time with Leah and really be close. I don't have to hold back. I can just be close to her and kiss her whenever I want. I still wish I could somehow find a better way to tell her how I feel. I just can't find the right words to describe my feelings.
My phone starts ringing. It's Beck who is calling me again. I want to ignore it for a moment. I hate that she calls me that much. I also have to find a way to deal with her in camp from now on. I sigh and pick up the phone.
"Hello." I say.
"Hi."
"What's going on?" I ask. She has to have a reason why she calls me although she has been calling me for no reason a lot lately.
"Nothing really. I wanted to check in. Are you good?" She says. So this is another one of these useless calls.
"I'm perfect."
"I'm sure you are." She says. She said that very fast.
"Anything else?" I ask. I want this call to end since there is no point in it.
"How is your friend?" She asks. She probably means Leah. Why does she care about that?
"She is fine." I shortly say.
"Are you still friends?" Technically we are maybe a bit more than friends.
"Yes." I just say. I don't want to explain it to her. I hear Leah coming down the stairs and look up at her. She has her hair up in a high ponytail and her fringe is sweetly hanging into her face. She is wearing a dark blue jeans and a white shirt. She looks amazing. I can't take my eyes off of her. I'm so happy to go on a date with her. I need to end this call.
"Listen, Beck is there anything important you want to tell me or is this it?" I say more urgent. Leah comes over at me and I follow her with my eyes. Beck starts to speak again and explains something. I can only hear her partly. My mind is focused on Leah. Leah doesn't say anything as she stands in front of me. She leans down a bit now. I can hear my heart beating faster. Leah gently grabs my chin and moves my face up a bit. She gives me a soft kiss on my lips and pulls back with a cute little grin. I get completely taken back by that. I have no idea what Beck just said and I don't care. I hope she didn't hear that Leah kissed me.
"Rosalie? Did you hear me?" Beck says again. I shake my head to get my thoughts clear.
"Yeah well I don't have time anymore. I need to get ready. I have a date." I say.
"A date? With whom?" Beck immediately asks. I won't say with Leah now.
"Just someone I met." I say and softly hear Leah chuckling.
"Is it something serious?"
"I don't know." It definitely is. "I have to go. Bye Beck."
"Umm okay... bye." She says a bit confused. I quickly end the call before she says something else. I put my phone down and take a deep breath. I look over at Leah who is just casually sipping her water. She definitely did that kiss on purpose.
"Go get ready." She says at me.
"You just made my head spin around a bit." I laugh.
"Oh really? Why?" She acts surprised. I hate her sometimes.
"Shut up, Leah." I joke at her and get up. I really need to get ready. I want to look good for Leah. She was dressed casual so I will just do that as well.
