Today is the day where we will all be flying over to Brazil for the world cup. I'm looking forward to it as an important event in my career but I'm not looking forward to spending all this time with my teammates. At least Leah will be in the hotel next to us so we can meet up sometimes. I look forward to my time with Leah and the matches. Nothing else.

I have to fly to Paris first because that is where the team will meet up. Leah will go straight from London. That means I have to say goodbye to her earlier. I already packed my bag and put on my shoes and jacket. I'm ready to go. Leah is upstairs and I think she is also packing her luggage.

"Leah, I have to go." I call. Within a few seconds she is running down the stairs. I have to chuckle at that.

"You won't go without me kissing you first." She grabs my hand and steps up to me.

"I was not going to." I smile and stroke her cheek. I lean in and press my lips against hers in a tender kiss. In this moment I just wish that we would be playing on the same team. We could go to the world cup together and we could spend time together. I would have so much fun.

"For the next weeks we will be enemies." Leah laughs. That is kind of true.

"The thought of sleeping with my enemy is kind of hot to be honest." I smirk and run my hand back through her hair.

"Who says that we will sleep with each other?"

"Trust me. We will." I say. We definitely will. I won't survive three weeks without sex with Leah.

"Whatever you say." She just nods and gives me another kiss. I will miss this. I'm already looking forward to seeing Leah again. I wonder if we will play against each other at some point of the tournament.

"I have to go, Le." I don't want to but there is no way around it.

"Maybe we'll see each other later."

"I will always make sure to see you at least once a day." I stroke her hair behind her ear and kiss her gently. It's a shame we aren't on the same team.

"I love you." Leah says.

"I love you too." I give her a last kiss and then step back. I need to go otherwise I will never get out of here. I grab my bag and go for the door. Leah stays back a bit. I look back at her again as I'm stepping outside.

"Bye, baby." I say. I love to call her that and the smile it always puts on her face is even sweeter.

"Bye, Rosi." She says. It makes want to jump right back into her arms. I sigh and finally leave the house without looking back. I didn't think this would be so hard. I will see her again tonight but then she will be my enemy.

I fly over to France where I meet up with the team at the airport. Leah also texted me that she is at the airport with the Lionesses now. I sit at the gate while we wait for the flight. I text with Leah. I feel that I'm smiling while I do that but I can't stop it.

"Who are you texting?" I hear a voice next to me. It's Amelia. She is new to the team and this will be her first major tournament with us. I didn't really speak to her before. She probably doesn't like me like everyone. The others for sure already warned her about me.

"My girlfriend." I still answer.

"I thought something like this. She must make you very happy considering your smile when she texts." Amelia says. She actually sounds nice. I didn't think she would be nice.

"She does. She will also be in Brazil." I look back at my phone. Leah texted that she will go on the plane now.

"That's nice. It always helps when you have people you love supporting you." She says. She didn't get what I meant. She thinks Leah will just be there to support me. How can she not know about our relationship? Why didn't the others tell her already?
