Chapter 25 - light god's bible

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, that's the only way to describe what was going on. Light would flash before being consumed by the darkness of the night sky or the darkness of something else.

I focused a little bit more and I could see Astro and...

"Why are you so resilient? We've been going at this for soo long, why not just go back where you came from?"

Astro sounded uninterested as he shot beams and immediately followed up by cracking... Big Boy (Chapter 14, Genjy didn't say his nickname before, especially because of a narrator) in the face.

"I know I have to get through you to make sure my dream becomes a reality, and I strongly believe what HE said."

Big Boy sounded as resolute as Astro... well I can never tell what he thinks, those glasses are absolutely annoying.

They started attacking each other back and forth, sometimes light would be absorbed by darkness and sometimes light would pierce right through, while other times neither of them collided instead travelling a random distance before inevitably disappearing.

Even with how entertaining watching this go on was, I was still bothered by Big Boy being here. You would've thought that someone as powerful as him escaping would have created some kind of uproar.

Wasn't he taken away by the fish? Let me check if I was high or something.

"Hey Aidan, do you remember that guy?"

I pointed at his movements throughout the air, though I couldn't keep up.

"I don't see anyone. Just lights."

What?!

"Why can you say his name properly but not mine?!"

Then Nir-Nir can she see them?

"Yeah, yeah Nir-Nir. Can you see the ones fighting up there?"

She looked at me with a weird stink eye but then looked up and quickly back at me in confusion.

"What people? There are just bright lights, how could you even keep looking at that?"

Hmmmm... I looked back up to check but then brought my eyes to the ground.

Why, why, why, I'm seeing them just fi- Wait a minute how am I seeing them?! They are moving at light speeds so how was I even able to keep track of them?

Once again I looked up but this time I couldn't see them at all, just flashing lights.

"WHAT!!??"

I felt a burning sensation and I heard a little SSSSSSSSS. Is something sizzling? Oh wait...

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHKKKKKKKKKK HELP, HELP, WATER, WATER MMMMYMYYYYYYY EEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!"

With shards of ice floating around in my eyes, I somehow felt better.

"Now, are we going to talk about what kind of dumba*s you are because I don't think your brain is functioning right! I had to save you minutes after we stopped fighting. Maybe I have to knock some sense into you after all!"

Nir-Nir pulled on my hair and used her other hand to adjust her fist with the top of my head.

"Wait, wait, why are you mad?! I was seeing Robocon and Big Boy fighting but suddenly I can't see them!!!"

She hesitated.

"So you managed to make worse nicknames than mine?"

"They are not bad you just don't have the taste for a good nickname, yours was probably the worst one I've made!"
