Jealousy is just a word (short story)

I was wearing my black and white hoody with a white smile on this cloudy day, all alone with no one to talk to as of two weeks ago on that fateful night.

I mean, I get endless alone time without ever needing to talk to anyone. Isn't that great? Hahahaha... ha... ha. I wonder... what is this feeling?

As the thought went through my brain, I saw a HANDSOME man and a woman holding hands. Something in me told me that I could not lose.

I followed them into a movie theatre where I was close behind them, joined the line before them, and finally listened to their conversation.

"Darling, do we really need to watch that one? There might be too many people in there; are you sure? We can see green hornets, trony, or even frown."

"Come on, babe, I want to see puss in slides. Pleeeeeaaaassseee?"

He leans closer to her and says,

"Fine. The things I'd do for you."

She leans in as well, lips puckered up as the man also does before a sweet kiss.

"Eww!"

"You have a problem red hair?"

The man was clearly upset over whatever I thought of... OOOOhhhhhhh I said it out loud.

"I did not say a single thing. I was simply congratulating you for being a Chad."

I said with a smile on my face, and he seemed to calm down a little bit.

("Probably covering how small he is with his good looks ").

"Oh you!"

Mr. Legs grabbed my shoulder.

"I said that your good looks are making me look small. Why are you holding onto me, prude?"

His grip on my shoulder grew stronger. But then his arm softened as the woman grabbed him.

"Leave him alone; he would get hurt if you did that."

His tense arms were deciding if he should keep going or not.

What did she just say!?

My veins bulged for a second until I came to a decision.

I'm making sure that they are not going to enjoy that movie in the slightest.

-5 minutes later-

I have finally made it to the front, and would you look at that? My rare luckiness came into play.

There were only three seats (that were together) left for the movie. Perfect. It's mine.

I took the middle seat, got me some lemonade, and waited for the two to walk up. Oh, is that them?

"HEYA over here!"

They looked at me stupefied as I greeted them. They approached me, frantically looking at the other seats.

"Hey, hey, don't worry, I won't bite. (yet.)"

They both looked at me as if they wanted to ask something.

"Hey, ummmm... can you move?"

"Wwhhhaaaaattt"

Your HANDSOME you already have a good amount going for you in life, if you want it, beg for it, Johnny Bravo, man

"Come on, didn't your mother teach you manners?"

He got angry for that second, but people started looking.

"Can you please move so we can sit together?"
