Eve and Garrett's relationship had moved onto a new level. Garrett was surprised but happy when after their walk together, Eve asked him to join her in her room. They just sat and talked about different things; their past, present and what they would do when all of this was over and they would all go back home.

Garrett then smiled softly when Eve rested her head gently on his shoulder. He carefully brushed his fingers through her long black hair and moved a few strands off of her face.

Both of them knew they were moving fast. They also knew that the mate bond was making them feel quickly comfortable around each other and things that would normally take a bit of time in a relationship; felt completely fine and comfortable already. They didn't mind at all.

Garrett placed a small kiss on top of her head. He gently took in her natural scent that was intoxicating to him. They were comfortable showing love and attention to each other in private. But with the others, even sitting next to each other felt a bit awkward.

"Can you stay the rest of the night?" Eve asked in a small voice.

"Of course angel." Garrett nodded. "I would like that."

A small smile spread on Eve's lips. "Thank you." She gently placed her hand on top of his that was resting on his thigh. Garrett kissed the top of her head again and then stroked the skin of her hand with his thumb.

Both of their heads snapped towards the closed door when footsteps approached. Then there was a gentle knock.

"Eve?" Rosalie's voice was heard.

"Erm yes?" Eve answered and with that the door was pushed open.

Eve moved away from Garrett's arms and sat on the other side of the white couch.

Rose's eyes widened slightly in surprise when she saw Garrett in the room. Then a small teasing smile formed on her lips. "I interrupted something didn't I?"

"No it's f-" Eve started but Garrett then spoke.

"Kind of." He nodded.

"It's fine Rosalie." Eve then spoke again. "Is there something I could do for you?"

A small smirk formed on Rose's face. "Not really. I forgot what I needed to say. It was nothing important. Carry on." She then closed the door again and walked away.

All the vampires and Jacob were sitting in the Cullens living room. Renesmee was tying a bracelet on Jacob's wrist while smiling happily.

"I can see that all of this didn't only bring old friends and family together but this also gave birth to something completely new." Tanya then spoke up, breaking the silence.

Everyone turned to look at Eve and Garrett who were sitting next to each other on the couch for everyone's surprise, since they usually stood on different sides of the room.

Garrett looked at the black haired woman beside him with a small smile on his face.

Rosalie, who was sitting on the other side of Eve, gave her a smile. The blonde was happy for her new friend. And she knew how much more comfortable she was with Garrett which made her even more happy. She was hundred percent supportive of Eve and Garrett and knew they were great to one another.

"Without all of this happening Eve and Garrett probably wouldn't have found each other." Esme smiled softly.

Eve gave her a small smile.

"Should we go and train Bella instead of just sitting here?" Emmett then asked.

"That's probably smart." Carlisle nodded. "She still has lots to learn before she can use her gift on other people."

Eve and Rose watched how Kate used her gift on Edward to "motivate" Bella to use her own to help.

Bella got frustrated that she didn't succeed immediately.

"Hmm. Maybe you just need more motivation. Should I go and see if Renesmee is up?" Kate asked, knowing she would hit a nerve with that one.

"Are you crazy?" Bella snapped, almost ready to lunge herself at the blonde woman.

"Do you want to come and see Renesmee with me?" Rosalie asked Eve.

"Okay." Eve nodded and glanced at Garrett who was standing above them in a tree.

"You can come back to Mr lover boy in a minute. Don't worry." Rose winked. If Eve could blush she would have done just that. "Don't worry. I understand." Rosalie spoke while they were walking back towards the house. "To newly found mates being even a bit away from each other feels like forever. I know. Emmett and I weren't able to keep our hands off of each other for months. In many ways." She smirked while thinking of her mate and husband.

"So was staying away from each other hard... you know in a physical way?" Eve asked, feeling a bit awkward when talking about her friends and her mates sex life.

Rosalie nodded. "It was. We weren't really apart. We broke a lot of stuff." She chuckled. "I kind of feel bad for the others. They were the ones who needed to hear it all the time. We didn't really think about it or maybe there was a part of us who just didn't care." She shrugged. "Have you and Garrett kissed?"

"No." Eve shook her head. "He has kissed my hand and head. But nothing more. We haven't even hugged really. And last night when you kind of interrupted us, we were almost cuddling."

Rosalie groaned in annoyance. "I'm sorry. I didn't know he was there with you. I wouldn't have come if I knew. From now on I will always assume that he's there so I won't just barge in."

Eve smiled slightly. "Things are starting to feel more simple. Now it's easy to just rest my head on his shoulder. Although I'm so awkward around others."

"But that's fine. Your relationship isn't a show for anyone else. Some aren't afraid to show their love and affection more publicly. Some like to keep things more hidden. Although I'm one of those who don't mind showing affection around others, I think those couples are so sweet who want to keep those sweet moments private. It's more intimate."

Eve had a small smile on her face the whole time when Rose was talking. She felt so happy that she had another person in her life who didn't judge who she is. Garrett and now Rosalie.
