Your view of the world had always been different than everyone else's. You had been raised knowing what was really out there, and knowing how it could hurt you. Another thing you knew was that your dad was the best of the best, and he claimed that your grandfather had been even better. Monsters were always out to get you, but for some reason, you always felt safe. You were the daughter of Dean Winchester after all.

To say you knew what you were doing was an understatement. You had been helping your dad with research since you could say the word "rugaru". Your Aunt Charlie lived with you down in the bunker while your dad was away on hunts, but he would always come back with a big grin on his face and pull you into a giant hug. It was hard to live with him gone, but you knew that he would do anything for you, no matter what.

It had only been after your 16th birthday when your Dad began to let you go on hunts with him. Being young had it's advantages, especially when you had to go undercover and "play citizen" as your Uncle Sam had called it. Hunting was something you had never experienced firsthand, but you were well trained and knew how to fight if you needed to. You knew how to aim a gun and track a monster, which meant that you could hold your own against just about everything. Over time you got better, and you adored the proud look that your dad gave you when you would save the day.

Something that you hadn't expected was what the world was like outside of the hunt. You had been spending most of your life flipping through pages of a mythology book, so it was hard not to get caught up in the life of a normal person. The biggest problem was, you weren't quite sure what normal was. Living down in a secret bunker kept you from a lot more than you had anticipated.

School was covered for the most part because of online classes, but you had always yearned for the life of a normal girl. A part of yourself that you had kept hidden had wondered what it was like to go on a date. Or maybe even have a sleepover. Back when you were stuck in the bunker you couldn't wait to get out and live your life. Now that you finally were, things felt different.

You would work a case with any number of cute teenage guys, but still find yourself oddly attracted to their girlfriends. Were you just jealous? You knew that they had everything in life that you wanted.  There were still good looking guys that you found yourself falling for when you went on a long case, but your dad would never let things go too far.

Deep down its was hard for you to figure out what you really wanted. You knew that liking girls was already accepted in your family, but you couldn't bring yourself to tell anyone, especially your dad.

Charlie knocked on the doorframe of your bedroom as she leaned against it. "You okay, Y?N?"

"Yeah," You nodded, "Just reading." You looked down at the lore book in your hands. You had almost forgotten it was there.

"Normally people look at the pages when they read," Charlie smirked. "I've never seen anyone read while staring straight it a wall."

You sighed as she sat down across from you on your bed. "Ok, you caught me."

"What's wrong?" She asked, concerned.

"Nothing's wrong, at least I hope not." You sputtered. "It's just... I'm..."

Charlie looked at you, waiting for an answer.

"People can change, right?" You spat out nervously, "I mean, right out of the blue? It can just happen sometimes... and that's ok?""Of course it is." Charlie reassured. "If that's what they want."

"But what if they can't help it? What if they don't know what they want?""That's fine too. It's a part of who they are." Charlie spoke. "Tell me what's on your mind, kiddo.""I think that... I'm bisexual."

Charlie smiled brightly, throwing you off guard. "That's great! It takes a lot of maturity and bravery to come out about something like that and I'm really proud, Y/N.""Really?" You stuttered, trying to slow down your thumping heart. "Should I tell my dad?"

"Of course! Dean loves you just the way you are. Nothing is going to change that." She pulled me up from my desk chair and wrapped an arm around your shoulder encouragingly. "Let's go tell him together."
