After the Winchesters rescue you from a hideous monster, you have a few questions.
Your feet hit the paved road at an alarmingly quick rate. You have no idea what the hell you are running the from, but a primal instinct inside you knows that you have to get away. Your car and your phone sit smashed to pieces back in the ditch where you swerved to avoid hitting what chases you now. God, why didn't you just run it over? You turn to glance back as you pass an interstate marker. It's the middle of the night and no one is out here to help you. You're so screwed.
To make matters worse, it's pitch black outside. The eerie moonlight casts shadows of shaking trees in your path, but you still can't see anything. A howl sounds from somewhere too close for comfort and you pick up the pace.
It looked like a wolf for the brief amount of time you had seen it before crashing, but it was so much bigger than any wolf you had known could be. Maybe it's a bear? Whatever it is, it's coming to maul you, so you keep sprinting.
Running is pointless. You're a slow, weak human being chased by a four legged predator in search of prey. There is no escape. Still, you sprint as fast as you can, adrenaline rushing through your veins. You hear more growling behind you, knowing that this thing will inevitably catch up and pounce on your back while you are still trying to get away.
Once your breath starts to hitch in your throats and the bottoms of your feet go numb, it dawns on you. With a burst of unknown bravery, you stop and turn around. You are going to fight this thing. How hard can it be to punch a wolf/bear/mountain lion?
You see a pair of yellow eyes about 10 feet in front you, its silhouette barely visible. The creature is tall; its eyeline almost meets yours. You let out heavy breaths, trying to calm yourself down and ready up for the fight of your life. All you need to do is land a few good hits and the animal will scamper off back into the woods, right?
You feel your bravery slipping away as it inches closer, but you hold your ground and get into a fighting stance, waiting for the animal to attack. Soon it is only a few feet in front of you, letting out a low growl as it crouches into pouncing position.
The creature launches itself at you, fangs and all, but you quickly dive to the right, anticipating its jump. The wolf is quicker than you thought. Before you get up again it jumps on top of you, using its paws to scratch and claw into your chest.
You use all of your strength to grab its midsection and throw it off of to the side. You stand up again, waiting for it to get back up and rush. The pain where its claws had scratched you is unbearable, but you ignore it, knowing that you have bigger problems at the moment.
It rushes and knocks you down again. This time you know you won't be able to throw it off. One of your arms is pinned down behind your back and the weight of the huge wolf crushes . the air out of your lungs
You let out a hoarse scream as the wolf claws at your chest. Blood soaks your shirt and everything starts to go dark. You can't believe that this was the end. At least you tried, right? At least you put up a good fight.
A few hours ago you were at your apartment with your boyfriend, well, ex-boyfriend. Now you lie here on some random street, broken-hearted and almost about to lose your heart to a giant wolf. Oh, the irony.
Your head falls to the side and you see 2 distant lights approaching. Headlights.
Gunshots sound and through the numbness and the blood loss you feel the cease of movement on top of you. Then everything goes dark.

You wake up in a dirty motel room with a searing pain in your chest. The room is empty, but there's a bottle of pain relievers along with a glass of water on the bedside table.
