Sam and Dean are constantly worrying about their little sister. Now it's time for your first hunt.
"Can you not?" The words come out of your mouth for the millionth time as you make a right turn. Your brother rolls his eyes in the passenger seat in response. "You're the worst backseat driver, Sam. I know where I'm going."
"I know you do!" he replies, one hand clenched in an anxious fist, the other gripping the safety handle on the car door. "I just wanted you to go left so we could avoid going downtown."
"Why? That would take twice as long to get back to the bunker," you question, keeping your eyes on the road. Dean had taught you to drive when you were 14 (against Sam's better judgement), and you knew this town like the back of your hand.
"Downtown is a dangerous place. Someone sees a girl like you driving a nice car like this," Sam motions to the Impala, "they might just carjack you at a red light. Steal your wallet and phone too."
"Easy," you smirk. "I'd just throat punch them, simple as that."
"Or they would shoot you," he mutters. "It would be safer to go on the back roads."
"Sam," you quickly glance over at him in annoyance. "If I can take on a werewolf then I can take on a car jacker."
"You haven't taken on a werewolf, not yet at least. And if we were doing your training my way, you'd be 20 before you go on a real hunt."
"I'm not a baby, Sam," you huff out. "I'm almost 18 and I've been training for this hunt since I was 10."
"You should be smart about it then. The first hunt is always going to be the hardest. You have to-"
"Ease into it. Yeah, yeah I've heard it all before." You keep your eyes forward and focus on the road, staying silent the rest of the ride back to the bunker.

"I'm not sure where he went. Joseph always shows up for work. The boy hasn't called in sick once."
You let out a soft sigh, thankfully no one notices. This Joseph guy is the main suspect, and now that he's disappeared he looks even more suspicious.
"Who were his close friends? Aside from the victim of course." You see the surprise on the boss's face at your question. Right now you were pretending to be an apprentice investigator to Sam and Dean. He must have assumed you'd stay quiet and just take notes or something.
"Um... I'm not really sure," the man answers hesitantly. "He was always hanging around with Sarah, bless her soul, but I do know that he started going down to Rusty's bar after work with a few other fellows. It's just down the street."
"Thanks for your time," Dean smiles half-heartedly.
You turn around and walk out of the store, heading towards the bar.
"Woah woah woah," Dean says as he steps in front of you.
"What are you doing?" you ask, placing your hands on your hips. Seconds later Sam is standing by Dean's side.
"You're not going in there," Dean looks at you pointedly. "Hell no."
"What, you think I can't defend myself?" You challenge him with a strong glare.
"I've been to my fair share of bars, Y/N. I know that any place with the name 'Rusty's' is gonna be bad news. Especially for a teenage girl." Dean talks in a low voice.
