"sis, sis," brody appeared in bailey's dressing room. in waterbury, bailey was sharing a dressing room with ginna claire and molly instead of with stephanie.

"cam, cam," bailey mocked. she was once again editing on her lap, but this time it was for her video instead of for the twins. "what's up, bud?"

"this saturday do the chiefs play?" brody asked.

"yep," bailey nodded. "they play the rams in kc. why?"

"do you still have the espn thingy?" brody asked, sitting on his sister's counter that served as a dressing table. "you know, that thing where we watched the celts."

"yes, cam," bailey sighed. "i still have espn plus. i kept it for tour, just for you buddy."

"yay," brody grinned. "you're the best, charlie."

"so you say."

"charlie!" molly called. "charlie!"

"what?" bailey sang back. "what?"

"do you any have dry shampoo?" molly asked the stretching girl. bailey was sitting in the middle of the hallway in her over split. "mine's in the hotel room."

"go get it then," brody muttered. he was curled up next to his sister with his eyes closed. the fifteen year old was supposed to be working on his school work, but was taking a nap instead.

"cameron," bailey slapped the back of brody's head before turning back to molly. "maybe, if i do, it's in my backpack. why?"

"i haven't washed my hair in like three days," molly called from the dressing room that the two girls were sharing with ginna claire for the week.

"that's gross," jp was walking up the stairs when he heard the girls having this conversation.

"fuck off pj," bailey rolled her eyes. "when we went to dancing with the stars, nobody showered till we got back to nyc and we were there for like four days."

"busted, pj," molly sang, coming out of dressing room spraying her hair with dry shampoo.

"shut up, molly."

"want to be newsie, lee."

bailey was watching wren between shows, so she was the first to hear that wren wanted to be a newsie.

"you want to be a newsie, wren-wren?" bailey asked as she lifted the toddler up to sit on the counter. the two girls were hanging out in the dressing room of molly, bailey, and ginna claire while meredith and steve went on a lunch date and chaz picked up food for the remaining newsies in the theater.

"yeah!"

"do you want to be a girl newsie or a boy newsie?" bailey asked, opening up amazon on her laptop.

"like you!"

"okay," bailey nodded. wren was talking about the fact that bailey had a flashback scene during the musical when her character, bandit, was revealed that she was actually scarlette delancey to  katherine. "what color dress, wren-wren? do you want yellow or purple?"

"'ellow!"

"okay, sweet girl," bailey quickly added a yellow old fashioned dress to her cart. before typing in 'toddler newsboys costume' into the search bar. "how about this for the boy clothes?"

"yeah!" wren screeched. "boots?"

"how about these?" bailey pulled up some brown combat boots in wren's size.

"yeah!"

"halloween's coming."

on friday that week, bailey was sitting on the floor of the girl swing's dressing room with the other girlsies and wren.

"thanks for stating the obvious, daisy," molly snarked. she and bailey had ended up in a room that was between josh and ben's room and zachary and brody's room. josh and ben had stayed up till one am, so the girls didn't get as much sleep as they wanted since bailey had to wake up early for a press thing.

"as i was saying," daisy glared. "we should have a costume party."
