on february first, the cast had just finished a two show day with shows at two and seven thirty and it was now eleven pm. after the show, eduardo castro (production manager) called everybody to the green room that was actually green.

bailey and daisy were sitting on the floor against a wall as eduardo, nicknamed eddie by bailey, talked.

"alright," eduardo said. "great job in orlando, so as some of you know one of the buses is leaving tonight with some of you since we have interviews early tomorrow. i have a list of who has to leave tonight, but we need at least ten more people to join this group in leaving tonight.

"the list is dan, zach, jacob, stephanie, molly, bailey, chaz, ben, josh, mike, jp, and andrew. brody, you're going on this bus too."

"what?" brody asked. "why?"

"because i'm not dealing with you without your sister," ellen, the company manager, said.

"fair point," brody grumbled.

"so, back on track," eduardo clapped. "ten more of you need to volunteer or you will be voluntold."

sky, julian, jordan, demarius, daisy, melissa, jon, nico, jordan, and jack all volunteered which left most of the older members of the company with the two leses (and their families that traveled with the tour), heimbrock, evan, josh assor, and stephen.

"okay, we are leaving in an hour so get your stuff together."

"sissy?"

the bus had been driving for an hour and almost everybody was sleeping, including bailey until she was woken up by her younger brother.

"what's up, bubba?" bailey sat up on the bench she was stretched out on.

"can i lay on the bus floor?" brody asked with a yawn.

"um, repeat that please," bailey blinked. she thought she heard her brother ask to sleep on the bus floor, but she was exactly sure she heard right.

brody yawned again and rubbed his eyes. "can I lay on the bus floor?"

bailey stared at him for a second, her sleep-fogged brain trying to catch up. "why would you wanna do that?"

"it's more comfortable than the seats."

bailey snorted. "brody, it's a bus. the floor is disgusting."

"i'll use my blanket."

she sighed, glancing around. most of the cast was asleep, curled up in weird positions, using backpacks as pillows or leaning against windows. a few still had earbuds in, faint music playing.

"i don't think you're supposed to sleep on the floor," she murmured.

"i won't be in the way."

bailey exhaled and shifted to sit up properly. "fine."

brody grinned sleepily. "thanks, sissy."

bailey watched over the seat as he spread out the blanket and laid on the floor in between her set of seats and the seats josh was occupying.
