nany.rose as long as time itself has halloween been a favorite in my family. before the now costumes are posted, please enjoy this throwback through the years
first up, bennet and bailey, age five and two, as elliot and gertie from et, this is 1996.
next we have bennett, ryder, bailey, and brody. bennet and ryder (bennet's best friend from birth to present) are nine, bailey is six, and brody is two. ryder is the tin man, bailey is dorothy, bennett is the scarecrow, and brody is the lion. this is 2001.
next up is the first year of chaos, 2002. the twins (age ten months) were pebbles and bambam. brody, age three, was superman since bennett, age ten, introduced that obsession to him. bailey, age seven, went with her best friend mara, age seven, as stitch (bailey) and lilo (mara). bennet and ryder, both age ten, went as mario and luigi.
2005 - bennett and bailey were both on tour with gypsy during this halloween, but i did get pictures from jamie who was with them. bailey and grace, both age eleven, and daisy, age ten, went as the chipmunks. bailey was theodore, grace was simon, and daisy was alvin. bailey and grace were alternating the role of baby louise while daisy was playing baby june at the time. for some odd reason, bennet (age fourteen), nick (age ten), and zach (age thirteen) were the smurfs. bennet was papa, nick was brainy, and zach was grouchy.
at home, i had seven kids while my oldest two were in california at the time. brody, the twins, blake, briggs, brooklyn, and banks were still at the farm with me.
brody, age seven, and brooklyn, age one, went as harry potter and hedwig.
the middle three boys went as the triplets from duck tales. blake (age three) as huey, briggs (age two) as lewey, and bryce (age four) as dewey.
lastly, brinley, age four, and banks, age six months, were beauty and the beast.
2012 - bennet (nineteen) was in once as andrej at this time. bailey (sixteen) and brody (eleven) were in newsies at this time playing bandit and tiger. needless to say, those three were not home.
i did have the twins, blake, briggs, brooklyn, banks, bohdi, bronwyn, and the little twins on the farm with jamie and i.
bennet did not dress up for halloween outside of a superhero mask.
bailey went with daisy as glinda and elphaba from wicked. my dear granddaughter was thankfully smart enough not to paint herself green.
brody went with hogan, of course, as mermaid man (h) and barnacle boy (b) from spongebob.
Then we have my group at home.
brinley (eight), brooklyn (five), and lucy (cousin, age seven) went as soccer players. a big shout out to bailey's closet for providing costumes for these three girls.
next up is bohdi (three) and bronwyn (two) who copied the et costume that bennett and bailey did circa 1996ish.
bryce, age eight, went as the cutest harry potter ever while brogan, age six months, went as dobby, and luke (eight) went as draco malfoy
beckham, age six months, was bullied into being appa from avatar so his brother, blake (seven), could be aang from avatar.
last up is briggs (six) as marty mcfly and banks (four) as doc brown from back to the future.
