Nakatitig ako sa kawalan dahil sa balitang dala ni Tobias at Oswold. Nakatingin silang dalawa sa sahig, tila natatakot? Nahihiya?
"Also, Your Majesty, before we left, they told us that you were supposed to be there if we wanted them as our allies." Lord Oswold said.
The vampires are cunning. I know that. They want something in exchange for their aid. But I understand that too because who would want to join a war without getting anything from it?
"Hmm..." Pinagkrus ko ang aking binti at sumandal sa aking trono. "Tobias, you are to go with me to my tower." I told my brother. "Lord Oswold, could you have some of your men deliver me diamonds from Lenobi? I need it now."
"Of course, Your Majesty. I will have it delivered now."
Ngumiti ako ng mainit sa kanilang dalawa. "Thank you for trying to convince the vampires. I will do my part now." Tumingin ako kay Oswold na nakangiti rin ng maliit sa akin. "You can leave now."
"Evette. Let Leon and Robin enter." Utos ko rito. "Did Lady Adelaide come back already from her duty?" Tanong ko.
"She still needs to go to Arsamanedon to talk to the nymphs living there."
Agad kong natandaan ang mga pangyayari. Maaaring malagay sa panganib ang buhay niya sa siyudad na iyon. "Send her a message. Immediately. Tell her to come back in Auroravale."
Halatang gustong pang mag tanong ni Evette ngunit tumahimik nalang siya. Napatingin naman ako kay Robin at Leon na sabay pumasok at yumuko sa harap ko.
"How was your journey to the other city?"
"It was a success, Empress." Leon answered. "The King of Elidoria said that they will join the war with us."
"Am I needed here? Leon already told the news" Sabat ni Robin. "I'm sorry." Paumanhin niya nang dalhan siya ni Leon ng masamang tingin.
Ngumiti ako dahil halatang naiinip siya. "You can go, Robin."
"Thank you, Ate."
Robin ran to leave my throne room, I just smiled while she did it. She really is very impatient. I just know for sure that she will just be in the river, or away to train.
"Do you want to join me and Tobias in my tower, Leon?"
"What are you going to do there?" Tanong niya.
I smiled at him. "To prepare a gift for the vampires. I will be going to their village."
"Okay."
"Nasaan nga pala si Magnus?"
Hindi ko pa siya nakikita simula nang makarating ako galing Arsamanedon. Nasaan na naman kaya ang sakit ng ulong iyon?
"What did you put in that diamond?" Tanong ni Tobias nang matapos kong lagyan ng engkantasyon ang dyamanteng hawak ko na ngayon.
Nasa loob kami nila Leon ng aking tore. Tahimik nila akong pinapanood kanina habang nilalagyan ko ng engkantasyon ang magandang dyamante na hawak ko na ibibigay ko sa mga bampira.
"I made a spell. It can make the vampire stronger once they accept the deal with us. This diamond in exchange for their help." Sagot ko.
"You do know that we don't need the vampires to win, right?" Saad ni Leon.
"Hmm." I agreed. "Pero mahirap rin kung sakaling maging kalaban sila, baka ang ating mga mamamayan ang mahihirapan kapag sila ay kumalaban sa atin."
Vampires are also powerful creatures, and having them as enemies is not what I want. They could go after my innocent people, wanting their blood to enhance their strengths.
