Dying Curse

Percival's POV

Beatrix disappeared in front of us, only she knows where she is right now. Romer and I had to fight the Lord from Arsamanedon because they were left standing in front of us.

"On your left," I said to Romer when a Lord was about to pierce him with a blade.

I had to be cautious with fighting them because they were strong too. They wouldn't be a town leader without strength because in Arsamanedon, leading should come with immense power.

Nakakabulag ang palitan ng mga kapangyarihan ng mga kalaban at kapanig namin. I had to try and let myself fight without being distracted.

"Robin sa likod!" I heard Magnus's voice. "Robin!" He shouted again.

I turned to look at them while my hands were still on my enemy's head. I was shocked to see Robin bleeding, she almost hit the ground if it weren't for Magnus who was able to catch her.

"Wag kang mag alala kambal ipapagamot kita kay Tobias," he said while his arms were around Robin. "Wag ka lang pumikit."

Robin's brows furrowed weakly. "Are you stupid? I-I just got hit by a stone blade, you think it wouldn't hurt?"

"Sinabi ko bang wag kang masaktan? Wag kang mag maldita, may sugat ka na nga," Magnus tried to joke.

I ran to their direction to check Robin's condition but before I could even reach them, Magnus's back was hit with a giant flame.

"Magnus!" Blair shouted.

"H-hayop na yan," he started to absorb the flames on his back but it was still able to injure him badly. "May sugat na nga ako," even in his state, he didn't let himself fall to the ground because he was holding his twin.

"Are you okay?" Robin was gasping.

"Protect the princess and the prince," I ordered the guards and they started surrounding the both of them.

I also saw healers come their way so I was somehow relieved. We couldn't transport them anywhere because even the palace was not safe anymore. "Romer, do not leave the twins," I told my friend.

He finished a lord from Arsamanedon before going to the twins' direction.

My mind wandered to Eira's reaction if she saw her siblings in this situation. She would be in rage and nothing can stop her if it comes to her siblings.

"Ahh," I heard Magnus's complaint.

They were lying on the ground, surrounded by strong soldiers from their city, they were protecting them from enemy's coming their way as the healers were doing their best to heal them.

I didn't know how long we were fighting, it was just morning when I last noticed but now, the sun's already setting.

The sky was getting darker, the vampires are in favor of this. The night was their domain.

"Ano yan?!" A soldier asked when he saw a blinding light coming from the palace.

It was shining so bright.

"It's Prince Tobias," I heard a guard say.

"Soldiers! Take charge!" I heard Evette say and then he rode into his horse to go to the palace.

There was something happening inside. My wings appeared on my back and then I flew towards the palace.

On my way there, I was stopped by dark nymphs so I had to stop to fight them.

I held onto a dark nymph's wings and it fell to the ground because it got rotten, kasunod nito ang pagbagsak niya. The loud impact of his fall broke the ground.
