Percival's POV
The ground broke because of the head of my enemy that I buried to the ground with my bare hands. His blood started to scatter and he wasn't able to say a word.
I marched to another enemy but Robin was there already and started suffocating enemies with water. She was even smirking while she was killing the enemies.
Mana sa kapatid niya.
I looked around and saw how bloody the whole battlefield was. I glanced at the palace gates and was relieved that not one enemy successfully entered.
We have been fighting for hours now but we still don't know the real enemy. Hindi pa namin alam kung sino ang pinuno nila dahil mga naka itim lamang ang nandito at ilang bampira.
Some of our allies laid lifeless on the ground and I made sure that their bodies would be in a right place, not just dumped in the battlefield.
"Where is that Victor?" I surveyed the surroundings and still didn't see that vampire who dared to betray Eira.
What I found instead is Tobias glowing, and vampires running away from his light.
Our allies looked tired from fighting, it's almost morning and we're still here fighting the enemies, tila hindi sila nauubos. Auroravale's and its allies may be strong but to fight with an enemy that doesn't look like they're running out is hard.
I ran to Blair's direction when I saw him almost passing out because of exhaustion. He was still young and it's his first time fighting for straight hours.
"Blair..." I called him and then he looked at me with his eyes that's dying to close. "Go back to the palace, do not fight anymore."
He didn't say a word, instead, he stood there trying to maintain his balance but he looked like he was going to pass out if he continued doing this.
Hinanap ng mata ko si Leon at nakita ko siyang binabalot ng kadiliman ang mga kalaban. He must've noticed me looking at him so he gazed in my direction and then looked at the man beside me.
He quickly appeared in front of us and enveloped Blair with darkness to take him to safety.
"Is it just me or the enemy's numbers are not decreasing?" he asked when Blair was not here anymore.
"They just keep coming," I ducked to avoid a man's fist and kicked his stomach.
He fell to the ground and I stepped on him to bury him deep.
I saw Magnus running, he looked like he was out of breath. "Nauubos ba kayo o hindi?!" he shouted while he was still running with fires on his fist. "
I left Leon and then ran to help some armies because they were surrounded. "Leave," I ordered them and they nodded and started running to another direction.
My forehead furrowed when I noticed that inside the bodies of the enemies, are just pure black light.
Is that their soul?
Black soul? Why?
I sighed and then my wings appeared. I took a leap and stayed in the air, I looked down at my enemies and they started aiming their weapons at me but I was quick to dodge it from above.
With my hands inside my pocket, feeling the air that surrounds me, the sound of my wings holding me. I slowly pierced my eyes to my enemies and saw how they fell to the ground at the same time because of the presence of death.
