Chapter 44: Revival

Revival

Eira's POV

I wasn't able to say a word or two, when Beatrix used her sword on me. My breathing stopped but I was still conscious to see the ice slowly going out of my body to surround me.

Did I die? That was the question I wanted to ask too because no one can survive a stab in the heart.

I was inside the ice, my eyes were fighting to close it. The next thing I remembered was the snowflake necklace I was wearing started to melt.

The melted snowflake ran around my body but it only focused in the area around my heart.

I did lose consciousness, I was out for an hour? I guess.

When I opened my eyes again, I saw the snowflake started to form itself again and then it settled on the middle part of my chest.

It wasn't a necklace anymore but more of a silver tattoo on my body.

I was still wearing a necklace but it has no pendant anymore.

My body turned warm, until I saw my hair slowly change its color, from black to snow-white, while I was still lying, surrounded by ice.

I could also feel my power surging out like it was begging me to let it come out.

Kinapa ko ang butas sa dibdib ko ngunit wala akong maramdaman. Dahan dahan akong umupo sa pagkakahiga ko at tinignan ang buhok ko na nag iba ng kulay.

Sa nangyari sa akin, dapat nanghihina ako ngayon ngunit wala akong maramdaman na sakit sa aking katawan.

"What did you put in this necklace, Ariela?" I whispered to myself while I was gently touching the snowflake on my chest.

When I realized that I was still inside the ice, hinawakan ko ito hanggang sa ito ay dahan dahan na natunaw.

If I died a while ago, then maybe this is my revival? What a shame to die that way. Ngunit malaking pasasalamat ko nalang sa kwintas ng binigay sa akin ni Ariela dahil nakasisiguro akong yun ang dahilan ng pagkagising ko.

I was revealed by how messy the war has come.

Beatrix was bleeding, the king of Elidoria on her side.

Trinaydor na naman ba ako?

I sent a sharp snowflake towards Beatrix. "Run..." I ordered her.

She disappeared using the portal made of water and I just let her. Nakakatawa na hindi niya alam na may ideya ako kung nasaan siya ngayon.

"Ano't nakalimot ka?" I gently asked Elidoria's king. "Nabulag ka rin ba sa maling pagmamahal?"

"Manahimik ka, Eira." He answered me.

"Eira..." Percival called and I looked into his direction and I saw how there was shock in his face but also relief when he saw me. "Shall we finish this, love?"

Ngumiti ako sa tanong niya at tinanguan siya. He nodded at me too before turning his back on me to face enemies.

"Leave," baling ko sa kambal at kay Leon.

I searched the air for Tobias's and Blair's presence to make sure that they were both fine. Nakahinga lamang ako ng malalim ng maramdaman ko na nasa palasyo sila.

"Do I need to repeat myself?" I asked my siblings.

"Ikaw ba yan?" Magnus innocently asked while looking at me.

I nodded. "It's still me," I answered.

I diverted my gaze and found out that Elidoria's king also vanished.
