Natalia's POV: (Xavier's sister)
I walked out of the movie theatre, humming a song I heard in it. It was a kids animation movie, but I quite liked it to be honest.
Clean humor, fun conversations, interesting plot, cute characters; just an overall good experience.
I decided to go check out the food court since it was already dinner time and I still have a lot of money left. Something about spending your brother's hard earned money is so satisfying.
I saw this fancy Italian restaurant and decided to go check it out. It's been a while since I've eaten Italian. At least in my right state of mind that is.
I was happily munching on my food when a random girl just came and sat opposite to me. "Excu–" I stopped talking when I saw who the girl was.
It was the same girl I bumped into outside at the therapist's.
"Hey! I hope you remember me. We bumped into each other just a few hours earlier remember?" she said, her eyes frantically looking around for someone.
"Uh...yes. I do remember you" I replied.
"Great! I'm kind of in a pickle here. And you're the only person here I somewhat know. I mean, I don't know you but I bumped into you so I recognize you" she blabbered.
"What's the problem?" I asked, stopping her from rambling more.
"Yes! The problem. So you see, I'm on a date with this girl I met on Tinder. But she's giving....how do I say it? Creepy. Yeah, she's giving creepy. All red flags. So I was wondering, if you could pretend to be my long lost friend or someone and get me out of this date" she said.
"I....don't even know you" I said, kind of amused at how she just walked up to me, a complete stranger, and asked for help. How easily she just trusted me.
"Oh yeah. No you don't need to know me. Just make up a story and I'll go along with it" she said. She then looked back in some direction, before her eyes widened.
"Okay she's back!" she said, getting up in a panic, "I'm relying on you. Please help me." And then she started walking away.
"Wait!" I called, "What's your name?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that" she chuckled, "It's Luna."
With that, she turned around and left. I watched her walk up to a woman dressed in all black, like a goth girl.
She hugged the other woman, looked at me discreetly one last time before they both headed to a two person table.
Damn...didn't know I was playing savior today.
With all my might, I stood up and walked to their table. The goth girl noticed me first, looking me up and down with disgust.
I took a deep breath before I hugged the brown haired girl – or Luna, as she said – from the back.
"Oh my god! It's been so long!" I exclaimed. Luna immediately turned around, screaming in excitement before hugging me tight.
Let me tell you, the girl's got some strength.
"How are you?" Luna asked, "It's been so long." I smiled, nodding. "Yeah. Almost years now from high school time" I exclaimed.
"Um, excuse me? Who are you?" the goth girl asked, her resting bitch face clearly showing. Luna turned around, looking at her with a smile.
"She's Nat. My high school friend. We haven't met since ages. I'm so glad to finally meet her again" she exclaimed happily.
For a second, I felt the world slip from under me. How does she know my name? I never told her that.
