Sylvia's POV:

Balancing on my tiptoes, I reached up to fix the flickering light bulb above my desk.

I probably should have called maintenance, but sometimes it's just easier to do things yourself.

Colton and Daniel, two of my more charming employees, were steadying the chair beneath me, their smiles and light conversation keeping me entertained.

"Careful, Sylvia," Daniel said, his voice light and teasing. "We wouldn't want you falling and breaking something."

I rolled my eyes at that, "I'm your boss. Behave like that."

"Yes boss" Colton saluted me, making me roll my eyes again.

"Although I must say, your husbands are quite lucky with that ass you've got" Colton added.

I laughed at their harmless flirtation, "I know exactly how lucky those two are." I didn't mind Colton and Daniel flirting with me.

They've been in this company for as long as I have. And they both have wives whom they love dearly. I knew this was just some innocent fun for them.

"Guys, hold it steady" I said as I removed the old bulb. "Ah!" I squealed when the chair was suddenly jerked.

"Assholes!" I scolded the two of them, them only laughing in return. "Aw, the cute little girl is scared" Daniel high fived Colton.

Why have I not fired them again? Oh yeah, coz they're good workers.

"Cute little girl? Really?" I stood back up with the new light bulb. If only they knew what my husbands called me.

"Yeah no, sorry. That's a wrong nickname for you. You're more like....little tigress girl" Colton said. I guess I'll take that.

"Thanks" I said to the two of them as I stepped down. "So do we get paid for this or...?" Daniel asked jokingly.

"No. You get fired for this."

Shit.

"Oh Xavier, Max! Hi!" I quickly walked over to the door where my two husbands stood, glaring daggers at the two men who just helped me.

"Um Colton, Daniel. How about you two head out, yes?" I chuckled nervously. They both shared a look, and then nodded.

"Yeah, head out of the fucking office and don't ever come back" Max said, his voice a low growl.

"No! No! Just out of my cabin please" I pulled both my husbands away from the door, sending my co-workers out the room.

As the door clicked shut behind them, the tension in the room grew thicker. Xavier turned to glare at me, his eyes a dark brown from how intense the look in them was.

"Sylvia what the fuck!" he exclaimed.

"It's not what it looks like" I quickly said.

"They were flirting with you" Xavier stated, his voice going dangerously calm, "We heard them."

"They were just being friendly" I tried to explain, trying to make them both sit down.

"Friendly?" Max scoffed, running a hand through his hair in frustration, "You realize you don't have panties on, right?"

Shit. I forgot about that.

"I-I forgot about that, but I swear you can trust those two. Even dads trust them!" I tried to give them a reason.

Xavier's jaw was clenched tight, his eyes dark with jealousy. Maxwell's hands were balled into fists at his sides.

I knew their protective instincts were in overdrive, and I needed to calm them down.

"I'm going to fucking shoot them both" Xavier declared, his tone leaving no room for argument. "No!" I pulled him back as he tried to walk out.

"Fine, then I'll make sure they get fired and never find work in this industry again" Max gave a second option which was just as bad.

"They are good people. They have a family, kids!" I said, my heart sinking at the severity of their words.

"Sylvia, they crossed a fucking line!" Xavier yelled, making me sigh in irritation as I struggled to find a good reply for him.

"Xavier, Max, listen to me," I pleaded, stepping in front of them.

"They didn't mean anything by it. It was just harmless fun. They're like that with everyone. Please, don't ruin their lives over this."

Xavier's eyes were still dark, but I could see the flicker of understanding in them. Maxwell's fists unclenched slightly.

"I get it. You both are protective, and I love you for it. But firing them or worse... that's not the answer. They've been with this company for a long time, and they've always been loyal."

Max took a deep breath, his anger starting to dissipate, "We just don't want anyone else looking at you like that, mi leona. It drives us crazy."

"I know," I said softly, reaching out to take their hands, "And I promise, I'll be more careful. But trust me when I say that Colton and Daniel would never overstep their bounds."

Xavier finally sighed, pulling me into his arms, "We do trust you, mi reina. We just....don't trust the world."

I hugged him back, feeling Max's arms wrap around us both, "I understand. And I love you both so much. Let's move past this, okay?"

Maxwell nodded, his tension easing away, "Okay. But if they ever say anything like that again..."

"They won't," I assured him, "I'll talk to them. It won't happen again."

"Sylvia" Xavier took a hold of my jaw, making me look up at him.

Damn his height.

"You're ours. Just ours. And next time, I won't ask you before shooting whoever the fuck I feel like. So you better make sure it doesn't happen again."

"Are you threatening me my sweet little husband?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"No," he said, "I'm not threatening you. Xavier Alvarez, the Spanish Mafia Don is."

Well, if anyone wants to know, this is the downside of having a switch as your husband.

I mean, it did give me immense tingles and sparks at the way he just....announced me as just his and Max's. But still no.

"Mr. Spanish Mafia Don, don't forget, I am still your dominant" I reminded him.

"Never turned back from that mi reina. I will always submit to you in the bedroom. But in the outside world, I will stand as a warrior, destroying every single thing that has even the slightest chance of stealing you away from me."

"Oookay!" I smiled, pushing away from both of them. This got too serious too quick.

"I'm assuming you two are here to pick me up. So let's go?" I offered them my hands, and they both happily took it.

With a kiss on each of my cheek from both of them, we headed out and into the basement to where my car was. Phew. Crisis averted.

Short chapter, but I find it cute. Kinda scary how possessive these two men are, but like...what's a man without a little possessiveness?

Okay no seriously, there's a limit okay? Overly possessive is toxic. There's a line between possessive and controlling. Identify it if something like this happens in your relationship.

On a side note, it's gonna be my birthday soon! Like literally, next Saturday (the 27th) is my 18th birthday! Yay!
