Me and my husband

HONG HAE-MIN WAS BORN SECOND.

7 minutes after her fraternal twin sister Hae-in and a few years before her brother Soo-Cheol. She was the first one married out of the Hong children. She got married to her high school sweetheart when she was 24.

She met Choi Suno in the 9th grade. From that point it was history. They had a Daughter 4 years ago named Choi So-won. Both absolutely adored their daughter and she adored bout of her parents.

Suno started his own law firm with slight help from Hae-min's grandfather. Hae-min became a fashion designer but sometimes modeled and she was very good at it.

"They are at it again" Suno sighed plopping down next to his wife. Hae-min frowned "Why can't they just get along?". Suno slipped an arm around her shoulders and pressed a soft kiss to her temple. "Not a clue." He responded.

He turned his head look at his wife's side profile. He was extremely proud to call her his wife. Hae-Min had made a big name for herself in the modeling community.

Her designs were worn by models all over the globe and she herself was featured on numerous amounts of magazines all over korea, u.s and europe.

Hae-Min's phone buzzed on her lap. eonni: Family room. Hae-Min grumbled and showed her husband the text.

"I'm here what's wrong?" Hae-Min sat down, Suno following in suit. "Why are you late?" Their mother snapped at Hyun-Woo. "I texted late" Hae-in replied flatly.

"Why should you have to text? don't you know you're supposed to be here by now?". "He is here now. Go on and sit oppa" Hae-min pointed down at the couch beside Hae-in.

"I apologize" Hyun-woo bowed his head before mouthing a thank you to Hae-min. Sometimes he wondered if his life would have been better if he met Hae-min first?

If he would have married Hae-min before Suno would they have kids? Would So-won be his? He knew he'd be happier, he would grow to love her. It's not like she was ugly, The hong twins were actually two of the most beautiful women he's ever seen.

Hae-Min always spoke up for her husband and she seemed like a good wife. Hae-min and Suno arguing was unheard of. Typically they'd be splashed in the tabloids as power couple or couple of the year (for the 3rd time).

"Ungrateful child" Her mother grumbled at Hae-min. "I heard a rumor about them separating because they were arguing at work" Soo-Cheol spoke up. "You two argued?".

"yes. and it wasn't just an argument they were making everyone else uncomfortable". "Soo-cheol. Hush" Hae-min replied. "Are you ok? do you need anything my love?" Sunho asked her. "Do you mind getting me some water please?" she asked.

He nodded and immediately left to get her water. Hae-Min watched silently as her family spoke. Family meetings were never something that involved Hae-min. She worked as a fashion designer, the only time they needed her was to take photos with the product.

Her husband owned a clothing distribution and sales company called Sun&Sea, named after his wife, whose name means sun and sea.

When you walked in the nice, black and gold company his wife modeling various articles of clothing were shown on every screen and poster.

Hae-Min's company was named Joae that means love. It was also almost Sowon's name but it was changed last minute.

Sunho came back with a glass of water with ice in it. "Thank you" Hae-Min smiled at him before taking a light sip of the water. The cool liquid ran down her throat. "speaking of children. Hae-min are you two going to have another? Surely my granddaughter needs a sibling!".

"Mother. We talked about this, when we are ready" Hae-min responded. "Hae-min-", Hae-min cut her mother off with a shake of her head. "Our decision is final" she responded.

A part of Hae-in envied her younger sister. She was so firm on her word no one dared question her. Yet she was still so kind and smiley that she was obviously everyone's favorite.

She wasn't apart of the company, grandfather couldn't fire her. Even if she was he wouldn't ever fire his sweet Hae-min.

Their mother never went back and forth with her because Hae-min would tune her out. Arguing with Hong Hae-min was useless. The couple watched silently as Hae-Min's mother argued with Hyun-woo.

After the family meeting Hae-min went to find Hyun-woo. "Oppa" she called out. The man turned around "Hello Hae-Min" He put on a light smile.

"I'm sorry. I know my family can be...a lot, whatever is happening between you and Hae-in isn't my business but i want to tell you biological or in law you'll always be my brother" she said.

Surprisingly that made Hyun-woo feel a less bit alone. "I appreciate it Hae-min" He said to her. The woman flicked her long hair from her eyes. "Good night Hyun-woo" she gave him a smile and walked away.

"Momma" The soft voice of So-won ripped through the silence as Hae-min walked into her home. "What are you still doing awake missy?" Hae-min closed the door behind her.

Her 4 year old was sat on the couch, her father passed out on the couch next to her. So-Won was a spitting image of her mother with her father's nose and waves rippling through her shoulder length hair.

"Appa fell asleep!" She pouted pointing to her father. "Let's get you to bed So-Won" She scooped her young child off the couch and up into her arms. So-Won laid her head on her mother's shoulders.

Hae-min flicked on the light illuminating the bedroom. Next to the window was a single twin bed with blush pink and white tulip bedding with matching teddy bears and pillows.

Her large bear her father bought for her when she was first born in the corner of her room. Hae-min tucked her daughter into the bed and laid a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"I love you so much So-Won" Her mother sat on the floor beside her bed. "I love you too momma" The toddler gave a sleepy smile.

Hae-min lightly stroked her daughter's hair as the small girl slowly fell asleep. Hae-min grabbed a blanket and draped it over herself and her husband, the two falling asleep.
