Tradition

HONG HAE-MIN STOOD BESIDE HER HUSBAND.

They watched as Soo-Cheol swirled the alcohol for grandmother. "Beom-ja's here!" The voice of Hae-min's aunt rang through the empty haul. Beom-ja walked through in cheetah print dress.

"Auntie is out?" Suno whispered. "She didn't tell me two days ago" Hae-min said with a shrug. The couple hid their faces as Beom-ja began yelling and rambling.

"Auntie the fish is here i can smell it all the way over here!" Soo-Cheol said making the couple shake their heads in unison.

"Who the hell does this kid think he is? You've never once visited me in jail i raised you better than that! Only my sweet Hae-min" Beom-ja came and placed her hands on the woman's face.

"Aish Auntie your hands are like ice!" Hae-min mumbled pushing Beom-ja's cold hands off her face. "Wait you didn't raise my Soo-Cheol!" Their mother spoke up.

"Excuse me we were circling the alcohol" Hae-in spoke up. Hae-min silently blessed her older sister for speaking up. The two slipped out the back after Beom-ja smacked Soo-cheol on the back of the head.

"Momma! Papa! I missed you!" So-won shoved her nanny aside the second her parents walked through the door. "Oh my sweet lilly we missed you too" Suno scooped her up.

He span her around letting giggles leave her mouth. He finally stopped spinning her and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"Did you have fun with Ms.Kang?" Hae-min asked as she placed her bag down on the marbled counter. Ms.Kang stood up "Have a good night So-won. Mr.And Mrs.Choi" she bowed her head and left.

"Yes she let me color pretty flowers" So-won wiggled from her father's grasp and ran to go get her coloring page. yellow, Pink and green followers were colored in.

"These are so pretty So-won" Suno smiled at his daughter. "Thank you appa" She smiled at the man before showing the picture to her mother. "Very beautiful! i'll put them on the fridge".

- Time skip i'm lazy-

"Mr.Choi when did you first meet Mrs.Hong?" The interviewer asked. "In her first year and my second year of high school" he answered.

"When did you two fall in love Mrs.Hong?". "I'm sure his answer is different but i fell in love with him when i first saw him at the beach" she began.

               HIGH SCHOOL

A beach trip for the broadcasting club mashed with the yearbook club. "I hate it here! It's so hot!" Kym Tae-sung complained. Tae-Sung was her partner and Soo-Cheol's friend.

He was a tall boy with bangs that nearly covered his eyes. Hae-min rolled her eyes and focused the camera scanning for something to film.

A boy down by the beach caught her eye. He was tall with sleek black hair, black jeans, a white shirt and a blue button down left open. He was admiring the water.

He looked up and made eye contact with her. She jumped and hid her face behind Tae-sung's shoulder. "What? what did you see?" Tae-sung reached over her lap to look into the camera. "All i see is sand and that guy".

"Do you know his name?" she asked, pulling her hands from her face. "Yeah. That's Choi Suno, he just moved here about 3 weeks ago" Tae-sung shrugged. "do you have a crush on him Hae-min?" Tae-sung asked.

"No! I don't know him! Shut up Tae-sung" she scoffed grabbing her bag and treaking down the small hill.

INTERVIEW

"She's been the love of my life since" Sunho shrugged. "Cut. That was amazing, we will send you the family photos soon". Suno nodded and began walking back into his home.

Hae-min was on the couch, her sketch pad balanced on the arm of the couch  and So-won curled up in her mothers lap. Hae-min's palm stroked her daughter's hair every now and then as she examined her work.

"What's on tv?" Suno asked. So-won sprung to life, quick to send a big gleaming smile at the man.

"Pucca!" she responded before looking back at the tv. "Working hard Hae-min? i can watch So-won, focus on your work okay?" He extended an hand to rub the top of her back.

She turned her head and smiled "You're finally back. I'll do it another time" she set the pencil down and moved to curl under her husband with their daughter resting in their laps.

"Let's go out" She proposed. "go out?" he questioned. She nodded "You and Hyun-woo have been working hard i hear. I want to treat my husband and brother" she sent him an adoring smile.

A smile crept onto his face, he nodded his head and kissed her temple.

That night Hae-min texted Hyun-woo and invited him to sonju and candied chicken with Suno. She knew the two men loved to hang out together and were infact very similar but hardly could due to the demanding schedules.

"Thank you for inviting me out Hae-min" Hyun-woo bowed his head as he walked up to the couple. Hae-min was wearing the most tamest outfit he'd seen her in since he met her.

Slacks, a tube top with white trimming, a cropped white jacket and white shoes. Suno wore a white shirt with a black zip up jacket and slacks. "Of course, I know it's been a while since you and Suno have hung out" She gave a rosy smile. Hyun-woo sat down from Suno greeting him like old time friends.

Hae-min stood up "don't take too long boys i rented the batting cage at 8 for the both of you." she responded. "Where are you going?" Suno looked at her almost like a lost puppy.

"I am going to hang out with my sister. This is just for you and Oppa so enjoy yourself okay? I love you" She leaned down and placed a kiss on his lips.

He kissed her back, almost whining when she pulled away. "i love you too" he said. "Have fun" she waved and left the restaurant.

"Isn't she the greatest" Suno cheesed at the man in front of her. "Do you know why she did this?" Hyun-woo asked. "Said we've been working hard and wanted to treat us" he shrugged.

"Treat us? For doing our jobs?" Hyun-woo's eyes widened. Honestly it still shocked him how different the hong twins were.

Hae-min was known for being sweet and beautiful. She went all out on gifts and special occasions for her loved one's birthday and employees.

Hae-in on the other hand had a reputation of being mean and brutal. She lacked sympathy and empathy.

Some say that Hae-min sucked every happy bone from Hae-in. The two often compared to Santa and the grinch.
