Good fathers

"MIND IF SHE JOINS YOU?"

"Hi uncle soo-cheol!" So-won peeked her head behind her parents legs. "Hi So-won!" he smiled, just then he fell tumbling to the ground.

"oh god are you okay?" Hae-min asked. Before Hae-min could reach him her mother shoved her from the way. "Oh my! You're bleeding! what was everyone doing? Hae-min you're his older sister you should have stopped him!".

"Stop me from what?" Soo-cheol asked. "Can't you see? It's all dirt and cement, it's too dangerous to ride a bike here get rid of it" Their mother grabbed ahold of the bike. "Will you just stop it?!".

"Skateboarding, Bicycles, Skiing, Roller skating, riding a scooter. Since i was a boy you wouldn't let me try any of it. You shamed Hae-min for weeks for buying me a scooter!".

"You wouldn't even let me go down the slide if it was too fast. I wasn't able to do anything" Soo-cheol frowned. A part of Hae-min always felt bad for Soo-cheol, it was easy for the twins to do whatever they wanted because all the focus was on Soo-Cheol.

"I didn't want you to get hurt that's all". "Exactly mother, you never let me fall" He complained. "Yes. That's because i try and protect my son, why would i let him fall down?" she asked.

Hae-min looked down at her shoes. She couldn't help but wonder if the reason her mom let her fall was because she wasn't interested in trying to protect her? "My son, My Geon-u will know how to at least ride a bike".

"You're doing all of this because you want to teach your son how to ride a bike?". This reminded Suno when he taught So-won. Her fourth birthday her grandfather gifted her a little pink bike and Suno taught her how to ride.

She's still getting the hang of it but Suno understands Soo-Cheol. Teaching his daughter was a very crucial part of her life, a time she would remember forever. "Are you ready So-won? We can learn together" Soo-cheol smiled at his niece.

"I can ride faster than you Uncle! My dad taught me, i can go fast" she got on the bike. "Then let's see" Soo-cheol smiled. "We will be back, Bye bye" Suno waved to his daughter.

She blew air kisses at her parents "bye bye" she said.

"You got this my love" Suno said peering up at his wife. Suno decided to take her on a hike to get away from her family. "My legs are s-woah" She hadn't got the chance to speak when she was hoisted up onto her husband's bare shoulder.

"Suno it's too much to carry me and the backpack and walk up the hill" she said. His grip tightened on her legs. "Please you weigh hardly anything.". Her hands rested on his back keeping her head up.

"Nice view" the couple said in unison. "You perv" his hand came to pat her on the butt. "I'm the perv?! You hit me in the butt" she said in shock. His shoulders shook as he laughed.

"We can rest here for a bit" he said setting her down on a rock. "Would you ever want to move? To the country side?" She asked her husband.

"The country? I've never really thought about it" he answered handing her a water bottle. "wait this isn't mine?" she frowned looking at the bottle. "i bought it to match your jacket".

She looked at her husband, love filling her eyes. "Whose shirt is this?" he lifted a plain white shirt out of the bag. "It's yours, i packed it in case you got your other one all sweaty" she blushed.

Seeing her husband shirtless still made her blush after all these years. Though surprisingly he was way more toned than he was before. The couple often worked out together and sometimes brought So-won along.

However, this time she wanted to spend time with her uncle and show off she can ride a bike. "I love you" she placed a palm on his face. "I wish i could propose to you all over again" he leaned into her palm.

When he proposed it was definitely something. It was at the beach, the same beach they met. Being a college student he didn't have much of really anything and he wasn't gonna make his girlfriend pay for her own proposal.

He worked really hard to buy a ring of his own, it wasn't what you'd expect a heiress from 3rd generation money to wear but it was a pretty diamond ring.

Truthfully their senior year he fell head over heels for her and saved up since to buy her a ring. Still he wasn't making much but when she saw it she freaked.

She ranted and raved about how gorgeous it was. Rose petals littered the sand and american apple cider wedged beside his leg. He had lost the lighter so ended up buying battery ran candles and painted his own will you marry me sign.

At first he thought she was gonna say no. She stood in the middle of the beach, mouth open but no words. His knee began to ache as he waited.

She eventually said yes and admitted she was pinching herself to see if she was dreaming. Suno would count it as maybe the fourth happiest day of his life.
