Me: I'll admit, I was a little worried you wouldn't answer when I called.
Me: I thought Jin would stomp you to a pulp after he dragged you.
Tohma: I appreciate your concern.
Tohma: Also, disregard Yumiko's words toward you.

Me: It's not my first time dealing with bullies.
Tohma: Which reminds me, how did you manage to get a hold of her?
Me: She looked like she knew something.
Tohma: In what way?
Me: After the paintings were removed, I saw her from the corner of the room.
Me: I made eye contact with her and she took off.
Me: Suspicious, no?
Tohma: I see.
Me: I thought there was something wrong, so I caught up to her to make sure she was okay.
Me: I think I just got lucky coming across her.
Tohma: What happened afterwards?
Me: She locked herself in a room (I assumed it was hers).
Me: I picked the lock, and well....you heard the rest.
Tohma: You picked the lock?
Me: I saw it in a movie once and thought to try it.
Tohma: Interesting....
Me: I'm sorry for breaking and entering. 😔
Tohma: Considering the circumstances, I'll let it slide.
Tohma: Pardon my sudden change in topics, are you free tomorrow afternoon?
Me: My agenda is still open, yeah.
Tohma: Would you join me for tea?
Tohma: There's something I'd like to discuss with you.

For the past several weeks, the owner of an estate in Yoyogi had performed miraculous charity acts. Majority of them sounded too good to believe, like regrowing an individual's amputated arm. He quickly grew in popularity, catching the attention of many individuals, regardless of their class. No one knew his real name, but from his impressive height, he had been nicknamed him Mr. Long Legs.
This particular estate was also the largest orphanage in the area. The closest to the sites where the bodies of several children had been found. Unclothed, unidentified, and heartless.
