Hannah dribbles the ball up the court during the fourth quarter of the championship.

the score is 82-73, us.

pretty much everyone knew that we would win, but it's so surreal when it's actually happening.

I can't stop smiling.

im currently sitting on the bench to take a quick break. I have 37 point, 8 assist, and 9 rebounds.

with ten seconds left notre dame stops dribbling as they know that it's done. we won. 92-81.

I ended up having 39 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds. A TRIPLE FUCKING DOUBLE!! IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

I run over to iris and kiss her passionately.

"YOU DID IT!!" she screams.

I feel tears fall down my face.

that was it? we won. but my time at UConn is over.

looking around. taking it in.

kk is screaming, "OK SO BOOM. OK SO BOOM. OK SO BOOM. GIRLY BOO WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

I laugh with tears stream down my face.

"the curse has ended," geno announces to the team.

"what curse?" one of the freshman asks.

"the curse than has come over me since 2018."

I laugh because of how clueless this girl is.

"we won, we won, we won, we won," kk repeats.

"kk, you will not be drinking tonight," geno says.

"WHYYYYYY?!!" she whines.

"you're already drunk enough."

"I haven't even drank?!" she argues.

"seems like you have," geno mumbles.

"did you see geno cry?" Iris asks me at the airport.

"no," I laugh.

"he was crying yesterday after the game," she says.

"wow," I raise my eyebrows.
