And I asked myself, when does this burning pain end?
The one in my chest where my heart resides.
A burning ache in ways I'm unsure can be described.
So raw as it clings in the back of my throat in a lump of uncomfortableness.
So tight I forget how to breathe.
Sometimes it burns so much it agitates the stomach.
And acid bleeds itself against my teeth.
"Must be heartburn."
My friend nonchalantly told me.
