Christmas break was over and the students were a welcome sight to all the professors eyes. Hermione was just finishing up her last class when Abbigail walked into her classroom. "Class dismissed!" Hermione exclaimed as the sixth years headed out the door. "Abbigail can I help you?" Hermione asked. "Just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to Astoria....she's a....well...shes nice." Abbigail replied. "You don't like her?" Hermione asked. "Not really." Abbigail replied. "Whats wrong with her? Did she cheat on you too?" Hermione asked. "What! No...she just keeps talking about you all the time." Abbigail stated. "Im sorry. But maybe you should do something to get her mind off me and on to you." Hermione stated. "Like what?" Abbigail asked. "I don't bloody know...go on a date or something." Hermione stated as she grabbed her things and left her classroom heading for the great hall.

Hermione took her seat next to Flitwick and Neville at the large table that night making idle chit chat about the spring semester. "How are the mandrakes?" Hermione asked looking at Neville. "Good. They're just as annoying as they were when we worked with them." Neville replied with a smile. "Have you passed out again Nev?" Hermione asked. "No..not since second year. Although Teddy Lupin has passed out once, knocking over multiple planters. He's a lot like Dora in that regard. How is he in Transfiguration?" Neville asked. "He's actually really good. He's one of my best students." Hermione stated.

After dinner Hermione went back to her classroom and continued marking the students tests. She was just about finished when someone knocked on her door. "Come in!" Hermione called out as the door opened up revealing Teddy Lupin. "Hello Professor Granger..." He greeted. "Teddy, when we're alone yo can just call me Hermione, I mean your godfather is my best friend so it's ok." Hermione replied. "Oh alright Hermione. I just have a question about the homework if that's alright." Teddy replied. "Of course what about?" Hermione asked.

Teddy showed her what he needed help with and Hermione took her time explaining it again so he'd understand it better. "Does that help Teddy?" Hermione asked. "Yes Hermione! Thank you! Oh...mum and dad wanted me to thank you for the Christmas gifts. We all enjoyed them." Teddy replied. "Well I'm glad, yo can tell your parents they're very welcome." Hermione replied with a smile. Teddy smiled as he left the classroom.

A few minutes later Hermione left her classroom as well and headed to her rooms where she was gonna be meeting Bella for drinks.
